If you're on holiday in Volterra, you have to eat here! Very friendly and discreet service. I ate here twice with two friends. On the first evening of our vacation we ate spaghetti carbonara and were recommended a great light white wine. The food was great. We also spent our last evening in Volterra (today September 7th, 2024) between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. here. The food came quickly and was really warm. We ate lasagne, insalata mista and were again recommended a white wine that comes from the region. Afterwards I enjoyed a tiramisu and drank a double espresso. Everything tasted excellent. The two service employees (a gentleman and a lady) were always very helpful and very friendly. I am very surprised by the many, sometimes very negative, reports here. We three women cannot confirm this. Otherwise we wouldn't have eaten there twice. I recommend getting a personal impression for yourself. In any case, we would like to thank both employees. You made our stay in Volterra sweeter! P S. The toilets were in the building in Piazza XX Settembre 9, whereas we sat opposite under the big red umbrellas and ate. My two friends were able to confirm that the toilets were very (!!) clean.

Place with a very welcoming and suggestive exterior. We ordered a fillet with bacon and a sliced ​​meat, very good meat, shame about the sliced ​​meat arriving rare (medium cooking requested). Side dishes too expensive (€7 each) for a plate of french fries and a plate of literally 4 undercooked baked potatoes to review for a moment at least the cooking, friendly and nice staff

The service is fast and accurate, the staff attentive and very kind. Impeccable across the board. We will definitely be back to enjoy other delights!
