Pizzeria Il Postino In Gubbio

My husband and I visited this place because of the name; we're fans of Troisi and his latest masterpiece, Il Postino. It's a small place—I recommend booking—but it's cozy and decorated with themed photos and phrases on the walls. We shared a Neapolitan fritto misto, delicious and plentiful, and a pizza each. I found it to be one of the best Neapolitan pizzas I've had in Umbria. Not rubbery at all, very easy to digest, and with an exceptional tomato sauce. Unfortunately, we were so full we couldn't try dessert. But we'll definitely be back. The staff is quick and friendly. Close to Gubbio's historic center, but with easy parking. The price is more than fair. RECOMMENDED!

Very good pizza, but the takeaway is delivered almost an hour after the scheduled time, unfortunately it's better to just eat there physically rather than order takeaway.

Good pizza and focaccia, fast and very friendly service. Excellent location with easy parking. The only caveat is that some online prices are out of date and, like everywhere else, have increased slightly in recent years.
