Wednesday night 8pm, just around the corner from our B&B. A simple small pizzeria, good welcome even though we speak no Italian. This is excellent food and very good value for money.

Spots to eat inside and the food tasted like a local favorite. You couldn't go wrong coming to pick up or eating in. Very clear ordering and kind staff.

Pizzeria Strapizzami is currently the best pizzeria for us. We've tried it in Lucca, Capannori, and Porcari: the pizza at Strapizzami is mouth-watering! The pizza with porcini mushrooms is our favorite! Excellent ingredients, excellent dough, cooked to perfection, and excellent value. Prompt service: we always offer takeout with a reservation. Parking is available next to the restaurant.

20/06/2026: Young and friendly staff. The tordelli (€10) are delicious, and the panna cotta with strawberries (€4) is delicious. Cover charge is €2. I recommend booking.

11/11/2025: Light and digestible dough. Excellent quality products used.
02/10/2025: The food is always good, but over the years it's lost its character, it's grown considerably, adding more and more tables, and like almost all the places in the area, it's getting a bit snobbish... A focaccia, on average, has reached 9 euros; with three focaccias for two, a couple of beers, a dessert to share, and two coffees, you can easily get to around fifty euros... I'm sorry, but that's really too much.
