Very nice hotel with very friendly staff and very good food. It's a long way from downtown and you can't really walk to the train station either. 50 euro each way to go downtown

Transavia return flight canceled due to an air traffic controller strike. We were given last-minute notice, otherwise it's no fun. After an idyllic romantic week in Rome, we found ourselves reunited with about twenty other French people in the same predicament. Transavia paid for each room and meals. Located on the 3rd floor, with a view of Rome (from a distance, but the view is still there), the room was of a high standard, even though it was old. I agree with the comment of someone who experienced the same situation: we felt the difference between us and the "real guests." Although the staff was lovely and the room was clean, both in terms of amenities and cleanliness, the meal, for example: industrial pasta with canned tomato sauce.
It's not the hotel of the century; there's a mix of a certain luxury and the impression of a former hospital/other complex restored as a hotel.
It must be said that for a hotel booked on the spur of the moment, it's pleasant and very decent, especially since the experience was free.

It was around 10 o'clock, before we checked out, and everyone was still resting inside, but the cleaning staff opened the door on their own to clean. It was ridiculous!

Room was small but very nice . Large lobby. Had breakfast buffet here twice . Omelette station and selection of breads and other breakfast items were great. Had Dinner here twice and both times was delicious and waiters were very attentive , great service! A little far from center of Rome .
I stayed at this hotel for work, a very comfortable place where I slept well. However, what immediately catches the eye is the service of the staff. Kind and smiling, available and capable. A rarity in today's hospitality. I hope to have the chance to return because the staff here makes the difference

I stayed with my partner at the Marriott Hotel in Rome and the experience was truly excellent. The quality of comfort, especially the bed, is truly superb: you sleep wonderfully well. Breakfast is another strong point, rich, varied and with very fresh products, perfect for starting the day in the best possible way.
Special thanks go to Alessia, one of the waitresses, who welcomed us in the breakfast room with her hospitality, cheerfulness and great professionalism, making us feel immediately at ease. It's rare to meet such kind and detail-oriented people. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to return soon.

Hotel Meravigliso, as a local Guide level 8 I recommend it, I have been in several hotels but the Marriot is unbeatable, the rooms and the bed are spectacular, the food excellent, the staff kind and attentive, the only disappointment I have and I invite the Director to take action on the matter is the cost of the water which for a 75 CL bottle is too expensive, water is a precious commodity of humanity and therefore it must be made at a cost accessible to all, but not an exaggerated cost like this tall, I understand wine, but not water. A tip from an expert local Guide! For the rest I recommend it. See you soon!
