Garbatella, a historic venue. Too much chaos due to the overly complex layout. Rooms within rooms connected by steps that go up and down, but a decent outdoor space that, even though it's nestled between buildings, is enjoyable on warmer evenings. Good food and a wide selection. The carbonara pizza is recommended. Reservations required.

I've been looking for a pizzeria like those of the past, back when there was no such thing as special flours and hours of leavening, when pizza was pizza and adding shrimp, chips, and the like was an unimaginable sacrilege. Authentic Roman-style pizza, shallow and with a crispy, slightly charred crust, expertly made, deliciously satisfying, and leaves you wanting more! All this in a welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease and relaxed. Extremely efficient staff and more than fair prices in the heart of the beautiful Garbatella neighborhood. Weather permitting, there's also a delightful outdoor space, a magical courtyard under a pergola.

We stumbled across this lovely Pizzaria whilst exploring Garbutella. Amazing wood-fired pizzas & Italian food, really friendly, welcoming staff despite us being the only tourists in the restaurant, great to see local Italian families dining together, tuesday night but restaurant packed! Great prices & fabulous food, would highly recommend if you’re staying near Garbutella. Thank you to all the staff 😊🇫🇷

A quintessential Italian place!
We arrived early and it was empty, but within half an hour it filled up. It's essential to arrive early if you want a table because they don't accept reservations.
The place is simple yet beautiful. We sat on the terrace and it was great.
The waiters were very attentive and quick!
They have a buffet table where you can order everything you want for €8, and they also have a variety of starters.
Their specialty is white pizzas or pizzas with tomato sauce. They're Roman-style, meaning they have a thin, crispy crust, a good size, and great flavor.
It's definitely an excellent place if you're in the neighborhood. It's a place for Italians, not tourists.
