The food was delicious, we ordered pizzas and a cold cuts plate as starters. Service was impeccable as well. Great atmosphere, cozy and friendly. They gave us a table that would accommodate our 100lbs dog so that’s a big bonus as well. Thank you for a great evening.

10/10/2025: We were incredibly satisfied after dining here! There's a wide variety of meats; we had the Marchigiana (recommended) and it was divine! We also loved the cold cuts appetizer; the quality is immediately apparent. A quick aside: I'm celiac, and so is Massimiliano, the owner, and he served us delicious homemade bread and focaccia! So, this place is highly recommended for gluten-free options, too.

Il peschereccio volterra

30/12/2025: Strolling through the streets of Volterra around lunchtime, we decided to stop at this fishmonger's and eatery, tempted by the menu: hot and cold appetizers (shrimp with cream), snapper with clams and artichokes, spaghetti with clams, mussels, and fried fish... Inside, past the fishmonger's counter, there are a few tables where you can have lunch. The courteous and attentive staff served us memorable dishes. The spaghetti with clams was amazing, the fried calamari and cod was melt-in-your-mouth and just the right amount of salt, and last but not least, the inevitable cantucci (delicious and flavored with orange) with Vin Santo. It was a lunch that made our experience in the enchanting village of Volterra even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!
16/12/2025: A very, very nice place to taste fresh seafood away from the sea... delicious fish and seafood... a fish and chips place like from a fairy tale...
