The restaurant is probably the the best within the historic centre of Amelia. Serving traditional local Umbrian food. An ample wine list and great local house wine great beer on tap. Great decore with changing art work from local artists. Service is always excellent with daily specials. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Making you feel like home.
DentrAmelia is now open for lunch during the week and the out door patio is open and newly decorated. Food and service is always excellent, they have many specials featuring seasonal and local ingredients, great additions to their wine list and always cold beer on tap.
Had a wonderful evening at their Neopoletin pizza night! The pizza was amazing everyone had a great time. Service was fast and excellent. Keep on the lookout for their specialties you won't be disappointed
DentrAmelia is still fantastic 👌 one of the best restaurants in the historic centre.. just opened there patio for outdoor seating. They are passionate about using local and seasonal ingredients in their traditional Umbrian food. Call ahead for reservations and ask about specials, always something different and amazing. All their pasta is hand made in house. We had ravioli stuffed with lamb and artichoke in a mint pesto sauce that was amazing, on our last visit.
Still the best restaurant in town unbelievable service at very reasonable prices. We had lunch today and I mentioned that I really liked risotto, it was not on the menu but they would make it for me If I was willing to wait . They brought a plate of rice balls while we waited. Everything was amazing 👏

Spectacular!
We ate very well, the food was quick!
The duck ragù was exceptional, as was the Dentramelia sauce!
The fried rabbit was delicious, the cheesecake exquisite.
The house wine was good, the waiters were very kind and helpful.
Must try
A special mention: we arrived with my daughter, who had unfortunately had a stomach ache shortly before... the waiter/owner (I don't know, but he was really on the ball and very attentive) immediately offered us a half portion of briciole in bianco, without any problem, and charged us about €3 for it.
They may seem like small details, but it was a much appreciated touch that allowed my daughter to eat something without feeling sick and us to enjoy a delicious lunch!

This is a delightful restaurant in a wonderful location, steeped in nature and rich in history.
The incredible flavors, created by the heart and soul of two wonderful and excellent chefs, materialize in dishes that are beyond special and rich in ancient flavors, such as the fettuccine, strictly homemade, with a white pigeon sauce... PHENOMENAL!
The expert cooking, beyond perfect, pairs perfectly with the highest-quality ingredients that the two chefs use with incredible skill.
The aroma of the bread, also homemade, is a caress for the soul.
The lamb chops with green beans are unparalleled.
The breaded and fried rabbit is sublime.
The meat is cooked with a stopwatch.
A perfect contrast between the crispy, perfectly uniform exterior and the incredibly tender interior, for both lamb and rabbit.

A small restaurant in the center of Amelia, with simple furnishings and discreet, impeccable service. The local cuisine selection is limited, but meticulously prepared. I highly recommend the excellent homemade pasta, which makes you feel like you're being pampered by your grandmother: the briciola is wonderful, the pigeon ragù excellent. The house wine is a wonderful local red, and the food and drink are excellent at very reasonable prices.

I must have been unlucky, but...
- 5 unpresentable bruschettas, 2 of which were identical with jarred paté spread on them
- Norcina-style crumbs that could be described as soaked in liquid cream
No, definitely "unlucky." I hope they can do better, otherwise they'll have to change the name to "tirem innanz"
Visited without a reservation and therefore sat at an outside table, but that doesn't seem enough to justify a negative experience.
