After meeting Domenico, the owner of the pizzeria, he offered us a course on how to prepare pizza. In addition to having fun, we learned some "tricks" of the trade and were able to understand the competence and passion that Domenico puts into it. We then tasted the pizzas we prepared and the dough was light, digestible and tasty. In addition to the quality of the pizza, Il Monello is a project worth knowing and supporting.

Very good pizza, special fillings made with quality ingredients and above all with a highly digestible dough, absolutely worth trying! Discovering that behind all this gastronomic goodness there is a social project that dignifies the most vulnerable people through work makes this place truly excellent! 31/08/2024: My favorite ice cream shop downtown, run by dear Marco, his dad and his grandfather. Delicious ice cream and amazing cream focaccia!!! <3
30/08/2024: Delicious, traditional gelato just a short walk from where we stayed in Bologna. The ice cream was rich and creamy, and the wide range of flavors made choice difficult but rewarding! I plumped for Straciatella and Pistachio, and my Dad for Caramel and Praline, and we were really pleased with the flavour, texture and the sheer refreshment on a hot day. The patrons of the shop were also really lovely, guiding me through some of the flavours and their pronunciation. I highly recommend it if you visit the city!
