Interesting pizza option in Verona. Dough is made from wholegrain spelt flour and it's not everyone's choice for pizza. It's hard and chewy. Let's just say that if you expect a classic pizza, don't try it. The place is very small with total of 6-7 bar type seats, very tightly packed. We were there in winter so eating outside was not an option. It's basically a fast food joint. Vicenco is the owner and cook and the only employee, which has it's own charm.

This place honestly did not disappoint us , we loved the pizza bread. It was unique . Above all you get value for money.

Mr Vincenzo is very nice and you can tell he knows what he’s doing. I have never eaten a pizza on a crust like that. I wouldn’t forgive myself if I didn’t try it!

Went here as read the good reviews - it did not disappoint. Delicious fresh cooked pizza just a short walk from the arena. Lots of choice - the Verona pizza was amazing. Highly recommend

Der Belag der Pizza war sehr gut, der Teig jedoch nicht unser Fall. Der Teig geht nicht auf und ist auch nicht knusprig fluffig sondern relativ hart. Wir haben bei unserem Aufenthalt in der Nähe von Verona bessere Pizzen gegessen und waren angesichts der super Bewertungen hier leider etwas enttäuscht.

06/01/2025: Typical old style Veronese tavern. Spartan furnishings (even too much so), decent food, good tripe and gnocchi with pastizada, braised cheek in my opinion too spicy/bitter. Courteous service. Bill I expected to pay less.
04/01/2025: Even though we didn't have a reservation, we came exactly at noon, for the opening, and they seated us at a cozy little table for two. A very professional approach and I was delighted with the Amarone risotto.
