Pizzeria da Remo In Roma

We were lucky to arrive quite early, at a time when the average Romans still don't have dinner, and we found the pizzeria practically empty at our disposal. Usually it is normal to have a certain queue given the notoriety of this place. So, if you don't want to wait, don't go later than 7 pm. You will also be served calmly and attentively.

A very homely and friendly environment, we took some Ascoli olives and mozzarella, nothing special, it was a poor frozen product, the pizza with aubergines was good but too thin, too much mozzarella and small in size...I was there years ago and it was much better

Historic pizzeria in Testaccio. The peculiarity is the very thin pizza, it looks like a wafer. The "dirty" pizza is definitely worth trying. Be careful that you don't have to book and if you don't want to queue you have to go early, before eight. Happy pizza!

Da Remo a Testaccio is one of the best Roman pizzerias in the city. Simple but authentic environment, with friendly and approachable staff that makes the experience even more pleasant. Good choice of fried foods: stringy supplì, crunchy courgette flower, light cod, mozzarella and tasty Ascoli olives. The pizza is exceptional: thin, crunchy, well seasoned, strictly Roman as it should be. A fun detail: to order, they leave you a piece of paper with the entire menu to fill in with a pen. A quick and practical system that works very well. Reservations are not accepted, but the experience is worth the wait. Honest prices. It is advisable to arrive on foot or by public transport, as parking in the area can be complicated (it's a short walk from the Piramide metro).

Un'ottima pizza romana che si distingue dalle altre. Questa unicità l'ho trovata nella stesura dell'impasto leggermente meno sottile delle consuete romane. Inoltre, non lesina per nulla sull'utilizzo degli ingredienti. Ogni morso è bello pieno e senti il condimento della pizza che hai scelto. È una pizza romana che ti riempie e soddisfa a pieno. Peccato per il filetto di baccalà. La panatura ottima ma abbiamo beccato un filetto ultrasalato. Per il resto che dire: una pizzeria piena anche in mezzo alla settimana parla da sola. Personale veloce e cordiale. Da andarci e ritornarci. Prezzi nella media.

Pizzeria storica nel cuore di testaccio, pizza classica romana fina, veramente ottima, fritti buoni. Non accetta prenotazioni, c’è da fare quasi sempre minimo una mezz’ora di attesa.
