Pizzeria da Nanni In Volterra

The best pizza I have ever eaten! The flavour was perfect and the dough delicious and unique. Staff were lovely and attentive. This place is authentic, charming and delicious, don't miss it!

Small place, but wonderful atmosphere. Food was delicious (pizza from the stone oven and chestnut cake) we really recommend this pizzeria run by an amazing lady with her husband

A place outside of time and space, but always at the heart of us Volterrans. Eating at Nanni's is an experience that reconnects you with the world and makes you feel good. I love pizza, but cecina even more. And Nanni and Rita are ❤️❤️

Magnificent. Not a tourist trap. But she's going out of business.

Absolutely fantastic! There's not much seating, so pizza is mostly taken away. Luckily, we were able to sit at a table. We were given the menu right away and ultimately decided on a quattro formaggi and della casa. Because pizza like at home in Italy has to be good. And it truly was; what a delicious pizza. You can see your pizza going into the wood-fired oven, and the crust is so wonderfully thin and crispy. A real experience. Even many Italians come here, so it's not necessarily a tourist trap. Everyone was super friendly and appreciates it if you make an effort to speak Italian.

A great little pizzeria!! There are a lot of restaurants that have become quite touristic in Volterra but this remains truly authentic and the woman working there was incredibly nice and welcoming. Best food experience I had in Volterra without question.
