Pizzeria da Nanni In Volterra

A very small and Italian pizzeria, it has two long tables. There are two large gentlemen who are very very kind and friendly. The pizzas, although not the classic Neapolitan or taglio pizzas, were incredible. We tried the four cheese, della casa and funghi. Each one better than the other. We loved it and recommend.

The best pizzas and the friendliest treatment we have ever encountered. Incredibly authentic and adorable, at a rock-bottom price. Mandatory visit if you travel through Tuscany.

I feel sorry for anyone calling this pizza place a 5. This is at best a 3. I gave it a 3 bc the people running the store seemed really nice and dedicated to making pizza. We couldn’t sit down even though no one ever came in and the 2 tables were never used. The dough is so plain. Cheese over cooked. Just really disappointing pizza. I have much better all over Italy and in the states.

Soooo great pizzeria! Small, cute shop with really nice owners. Pizza is super tasty and well priced!

The small pizzeria has been run by the same family for around 47 years. The pizza maker said that making pizza was her “passion.” You can feel it, you can taste it❤️ The prices are very fair. Even though there is little space to sit, it is an experience to have the pizza itself and make it in the old oven.

An atmospheric pub with history Classic pizza more like home-made and very good house wine :) Cheap and tasty, I recommend it

Pizza buonissima e particolare per l’impasto differente dal metodo classico e torta di ceci superlativa ( quest’ultima viene preparata solo la sera ed è da prenotare per tempo).Cottura nel forno a legna perfetta. Ormai sono una cliente affezionata per il take away. Consigliatissimo!!!
