Magnificent. Not a tourist trap. But she's going out of business.

Absolutely fantastic! There's not much seating, so pizza is mostly taken away. Luckily, we were able to sit at a table. We were given the menu right away and ultimately decided on a quattro formaggi and della casa. Because pizza like at home in Italy has to be good. And it truly was; what a delicious pizza. You can see your pizza going into the wood-fired oven, and the crust is so wonderfully thin and crispy. A real experience. Even many Italians come here, so it's not necessarily a tourist trap. Everyone was super friendly and appreciates it if you make an effort to speak Italian.

A great little pizzeria!! There are a lot of restaurants that have become quite touristic in Volterra but this remains truly authentic and the woman working there was incredibly nice and welcoming. Best food experience I had in Volterra without question.

Best pizza in Volterra – a taste of home with every visit For me, Pizzeria da Nanni is the best pizza in town – recommended by a true Volterra native, and has been my culinary staple on every visit ever since. My first encounter with Volterra as part of the 2013 Progetto Leonardo project deepened the connection, but I've been here many times since then. The pizza is not only outstanding in taste – crispy, aromatic, and prepared with love – but also a taste of home. The family atmosphere, the aroma of the wood-fired oven, and the warm hospitality make every visit an experience. A big thank you to the team – and best wishes to my friend Daniele!

The pizza was good, but based on the reviews, I expected more. First of all, instead of slices of ham, there was some kind of luncheon meat, which really spoiled the overall effect. There are only three tables, so you had to wait first and then eat quickly, as other people were already waiting. Prices are low.

The lovely owner makes the pizza herself which is simply divine, homemade and delicious 😋 I recommend it with all my heart ❤️‍🔥

Cute hole in the wall run by a nice couple. Good beer, tasty pizza and very cheap. Cash only.

Quite nice pizza, but also quite basic and not too big. Definitely excellent value for money. Great service!
