Beautiful location and AMAZING food, but please play ITALIAN MUSIC! 🙂 No one wants to be in Lake Como looking at the beautiful sights and listening to Miley Cyrus! Haha! We stayed at an Airbnb near by and this restaurant was the best thing about the Airbnb!! We went twice. Hope to be back again someday!

Fabulous family run restaurant in a beautiful setting with stunning views over the lake. This was a 5-7 walk from the hotel where we stayed and was recommended by our hotel receptionist. The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. We had the pistachio pasta and lasagne which was amazing. The caramel panacota was really tasty and the house wine was really good as well. Overall really enjoyed our meal.

We came here twice in our short stay in Menaggio as we enjoyed it so much. The climb up the hill is SO worth it for the lovely staff, warm welcome, delicious food and gorgeous views of lake como. We tried the tuna, lamb chops, salmon pasta, ricotta pizza and house wine and everything was delicious. We also tried the lava cake and berry Panna cotta which ended the evening perfectly. Thank you, we’ll be back!

One of the best dining experiences in central Lake Como area. Great pizza and local specialties. Located in the hillsides above Menaggio, it offers an incredible view of Lake Como and Bellagio. The online reservation system could use some improvement. (We never got confirmation and just showed up at the requested time, but there was no wait for the table.) We highly recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful building. Breathtaking visit. But in my opinion, two flaws: you should increase the selection of draft beers and drastically reduce the amount of ingredients on the pizzas, which in my opinion are truly excessive. Very kind staff. The desserts looked beautiful, but I couldn't bring myself to eat them... too full.

It is located a few minutes by car above Menaggio, perhaps accessible on foot, I did not try it! It has a stunning view of the lake from the terrace and very good choices of meat and local cuisine that go beyond the classic pizza - spaghetti. Compared to the other restaurants in the picturesque alleys of Menaggio, I consider it better and I highly recommend it and I will definitely go back.

Lasagne was mediocre. Barely any meat, mostly cheese and overcooked pasta. The pasta with pistachios was good, but the tiramisu was a bit bland. Great location and good prices, would choose somewhere else to eat next time

Went to the pizzeria last night – and was absolutely thrilled! The pasta was perfectly cooked, the pizza truly delicious, and the highlight for dessert was a fantastic lava cake – crispy on the outside, wonderfully chocolatey on the inside. Add to that a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. An evening that calls for a repeat – absolutely recommended!

01/12/2025: Very nice local spot. We tried N#3 and N#4. Both were tasty and satisfying. Bread was fresh and crunchy. Filling was not too much, just enough to add flavor, which makes it feel more authentic and not americanized. Their cappuccino was also great; and they put the effort to make latte art, which I appreciate. Is it the best sandwich spot I have ever tried? No, but it is a great one that is worth visiting if you’re in Bellagio.

Ristorante e B&B Il Falchetto

15/02/2026: Breathtaking lake views and a warm welcome. Despite the availability of parking, I decided to take advantage of the beautiful day for a walk with the dogs. It was a bit of a climb on the way back, but it was absolutely enjoyable. I'm grateful for the hospitality and the possibility of having a table that was also comfortable for the dogs (since I'm a Mastiff). As a vegetarian, I had no problem choosing from the menu, despite its concise nature. The location was pleasant, and the lunch was delicious, with a simple and authentic atmosphere. I'll gladly return!

The atmosphere created by the family who run this restaurant and guesthouse is unlike anything else - the closest comparison would be a warm, welcoming, genuinely loving home. The location itself is absolutely magical, but it’s the way guests are looked after that turns a beautiful spot into a truly exceptional experience. The view alone would easily justify paying two or even three times more for both the meal and the stay - and then come the little surprises, like wild boar wandering just below the window. And of course, the food: the owner’s wife cooks with such skill and heart that every dish feels like a highlight in its own right. The service is wonderful, thoughtful, and sincerely caring. Just one piece of essential advice: if you’re arriving by car, follow the owner’s directions exactly. Do not rely on Google Maps - trust him, and you’ll get there safely and without stress. A magical stay. Highly recommended.
