Pizzeria Casa Pinto In Locorotondo

Our pizza cravings were satisfied at this very friendly pizzeria. The staff was welcoming and friendly. A reliable address.

Excellent pizza, nice atmosphere. Well done

We enjoyed a pizza called Arriet (dialect for "new"), which was delicious. It's been a while since we've had such a good pizza. The waiters, Leo and Roberto, were very friendly, attentive, and respectful; they're very polite. The atmosphere is very pleasant, located in an airy alleyway, which I recommend when it's warm. The only drawback: the €3 cover charge per person seems a bit high. The rest of the bill was very average, with pizzas between €9 and €11. I would happily return.

Excellent pizza in a unique atmosphere

Casa Pinto was recommended to us by our landlord who said it was the best pizza in Locorotondo. And I agree that it was excellent pizza, great flavour, and so many choices. (Note - the dining area is mostly in a very narrow lane with people almost brushing off your table as they walk past.) However the service was uncomfortably rushed. Everything made us feel like our table was needed immediately, even while we were still eating. They took our plates and brought the card machine witjout even being asked for the bill. And that spoiled a nice meal.

Nous avons connu la Casa Pinta il y 10 ans en arrière et nous avions été enchantés, surtout l‘osteria à l’étage qui n‘existe malheureusement plus. Il ne reste plus que la pizzeria. Cette fois, nous étions beaucoup moins enthousiastes. Le carpaccio de bœuf était très nature et trés bon. Par contre la pizza blanche n‘avait plus rien à avoir avec celle d‘il y a 10 ans. La mozzarella était pur caoutchouc et le tout était insipide. Le personnel était efficace et souriant à part une dame, probablement la cheffe de service, qui était particulièrement désagréable, aussi bien avec les clients qu‘avec les garçons. C‘est devenu un endroit à touristes, ou ils sont contents quand vous débarrassez le plancher le plus vite possible pour faire de la place aux prochains.

We hadden hier al eens eerder gegeten en er was redelijk wat klandizie, dus lunch. We dachten we bestellen één gang voordat we in de verleiding komen veel te veel te bestellen. We kozen voor mortadello arrosto en pizzitello en 2 glazen wijn, huiswijn doen ze niet aan en een glas kan wel, maar anders moet je een fles bestellen. De mortadella was lekker, de pizzitello was heel groot en wat saai, veel ui en de ansjovis zat er niet in,. Maar de pizzitello was er volgens de bediening wel mee bereid, wel was deze machtig. We besloten een dolce te bestellen dat werdt een crème brule en een Tiramisu. Al met al toch wat teleurstellend,Wellicht was een simpele pizza beter?
