Pizzeria Bouganville In Amantea

The place was recommended to us by friends, we had a good time. Just outside Amantea, the place is quite large, clean and tidy. We were served by the owner, an elderly but very kind and competent person who explained practically all the dishes to us. The dishes are fresh, well cooked, and well presented. The prices are fair. I recommend it.

We literally loved it. The food is very, very good and to make matters worse the owners are super friendly. The waitress was very pleasant. A simple, friendly, family place! I highly recommend this establishment, simply to discover. We went in July and as we are returning to Calabria soon, we will happily return! Another big thank you to the owners including the son and the cook!

At Mr. Aldo's you will find a simple, clean and spacious environment with typical Amantea food such as pasta with breadcrumbs which is truly excellent.

A trattoria restaurant just outside the chaos of Amantea in the summer, frequented a lot by locals and less by tourists. The quality and freshness of the food impressed us positively, the fried and grilled fish were excellent, a special mention for the aubergine meatballs. The pizza is also good! Low prices. The spartan and easy-going service is appropriate for the location, don't expect great things. However, friendliness is always at its best! Our 4-legged friends are also welcome. We stayed there several times during our holiday and greeted each other almost like friends. See you soon! Well done: keep going!

peccato che non possiamo lasciare 10 stelle. Siamo andati al mare ad Amantea, mare e spiaggia bellissim! A mezzogiorno invece che farci derubare da un bagno privato abbiamo deciso di cercare un ristorante su tripadvisor, è cosi che abbiamo scoperto questo fantastico ristorante. Abbiamo chiamato e prenotato per le 12.45, appena arrivati il proprietario a cercato di posizionarci nel miglior posto in modo che l'aria condizionata ci desse sollievo dalla calura estiva. DEtto questo abbiamo preso: della stuzzicheria da 1 euro, 2 antipasti di mare, 2 gigliate di pesce, 1 spagetto alle vongole, 1 spaghetto allo scoglio, 4 patatine, 2 mezzi litri di vino della casa, 3 acque, 1 coca, 2 dolci... eravamo in 5 (tra di noi anche uno juventino moroso della figlia grande), spesa 159 euro, la spesa ci sta tutto, TUTTO BUONISSIMO!!! al cibo di qualità aggiungiamo anche la gentilezza del proprietario! Vi invitiamo ad andare in questo ristorante! ciaooooooooo

Le patron, la serveuse, le cuisinier, tout le personnel est très sympathique et très gentil. N'oublions pas la nourriture, deux entrées et deux plats, tout est trop bon.

Very quiet and simple place, staff present as needed. Excellent choice of first courses, second courses and pizzas, classic dishes. The pizza wasn't bad, the dough was very traditional, the sauce was good and perhaps with a pinch of basil and oregano it would have been a really pleasant surprise! The menu is bad, the "cover" price is not specified, i.e. €2, TNT table linen, disposable paper napkin, a fork, a knife (not used since the pizza had already been cut by the pizza chef) and a glass which I didn't use it as I had a draft beer.
