Pizzeria Bar Caprice In Bardolino

I dined at this restaurant the day before the seasonal closure in January. I'd been here before and had a wonderful meal. The location was beautiful and well-maintained, as always. We were always served promptly and accurately. A well-executed menu and quality ingredients. Unfortunately, this time I was disappointed by the decision to put an excessive amount of garlic on a meat that was truly delicious even without it.

I ate very well, generous portions, and reasonable prices. I'll definitely be back.

Very nice and welcoming place, with helpful and polite staff. The dishes are beautiful to look at, and both the starters and the slices of pasta are delicious. Prices are in line with the area.

We've been to Caprice many times over the past 20 years. In the summer of 2025, we had a less than positive overall impression, but thankfully, that has improved dramatically. Delicious food, great wines, very attentive service, and a lovely atmosphere. We feel very comfortable there and will gladly return.

€5 cover charge! Pizza €3 more expensive than advertised outside the restaurant. I consider that a rip-off.

We ate here three times during our vacation. The time of year certainly played a role (Christmas week – Lake Garda is practically asleep then – the most beautiful time because it's absolutely peaceful). Absolutely deserves 5 stars plus. From the welcome and service to the staff and owners, each evening was a success. Absolutely lovely, polite, and attentive people. The head waiter clearly loves his job 🤗 From the appetizer to the wine, the main course, and the dessert, we can only express our gratitude. We haven't eaten this well at Lake Garda in years. Thank you, thank you, thank you, we'll be back. Now to the complainers: anyone who finds fault here simply doesn't know anything about restaurants, food, drinks, or service. Or, of course, they're there at the wrong time of year and lack patience. A good restaurant in Bardolino. The ambiance and the way the tables are arranged set it apart from other restaurants. We had a good meal: Gameretti as a starter and pizza. The total price was €70, including a €3 cover charge per person (a bit of a snob). The service was also great, if a little overeager. There wasn't quite enough time to sit down properly. We were served an aperitif with pizza slices before the meal and a shot of schnapps afterward.

We had lunch, the staff were very friendly, we ate well, the place was clean and very nice, the price was right, definitely RECOMMENDED! I forgot, dogs are ALLOWED, which is a lot... even cuddled ones.

Friendliness and attention to detail, making guests feel pampered, along with excellent food and fine wine. I recommend it to anyone in the area.
