Good place, typical and good food. Characteristic place and the service is fast and the staff friendly. In my opinion, the portions weren't exactly tavern-style, perhaps a little more generous wouldn't have been a problem but it's definitely worth it. Fair and average prices. Advised

Truly a pleasant discovery! Found on the internet and chosen thanks to the positive reviews! Informal but nice environment! Few dishes, but good and traditional Tuscan. The girl who served us was really nice and professional! Fair price I recommend it

Locale simpatico in un quartiere di Lucca appena fuori le mura. Cucina lucchese, buon servizio (eravamo in un momento affollato ma gestito bene). Tortello lucchese notevole, raviolo carbonara non male ma un po' timido, buoni ossobuco e coniglio. Prezzo ragionevole. Da riprovare.

Very comfortable environment. We ate a Florentine steak and a Lucchese rabbit. Excellent food, only one piece of advice regarding the Florentine steak, but probably my fault as I ate it alone, I'm used to seeing it served on a cast iron griddle so as to be able to keep the meat warm until the last bite, unfortunately in Half of the ceramic plate was cold. Very friendly staff and great environment. Highly recommended.

09/03/2025: The owners are very nice, the environment is nice and clean, specializing in first courses which they make with excellent products and the care of home cooking. I had lunch with a client and we enjoyed 2 fantastic sea carbonaras, abundant and rich in fresh fish and I say this as a fisherman, followed by a fantastic apple pie made by them, coffee and water... I forgot that we started with a welcome tasting offered by the hostess of bruschetta seasoned with the excellent local oil, a friend told me about an excellent first course on wild boar. We spent 34 euros between 2 of us, therefore a truck stop price and 4 star quality. All in the small village which is still served by a convenient car park 100 meters away. Very highly recommended.
21/02/2025: Great food and service. If you are in the area and want to sit down and be treated well, this is the place for you.

19/03/2025: Sometimes they come back!! In fact I came back with new friends, after visiting the splendid Caravaggio exhibition at Palazzo Barberini, and I found a splendid surprise, dishes even more spectacular than the first time in a welcoming and warm environment. Practically pampered by the owner and the waiters. Thanks for everything, we will return every time we come to Rome.
