Our trip to Bari included several dinners at Pizza e Altro. We ended up there by chance but it was a very good choice. The place is a traditional Italian restaurant, staff is very welcoming, with mostly Italian customers and few tourists. We were served by a gentlemen who got to know us, who recommended very good food and never disappointed. Everything we tried was very tasty; pizza, pasta, octopus, deserts, everything. Had some amazing food around Puglia but the warmness and authenticity of this place made us return a couple of times. 10/10

I ordered pizza and octopus. I was very pleased with my visit. I highly recommend it. The waiter was very nice and spoke excellent English.

Small restaurant, great food! Friendly waiter, doesn't say much but smiles warmly and loves his job, which is evident in everything. I 100% recommend this restaurant if you want a good meal without expecting much in the way of ambiance.

Un posticino tranquillo e accogliente, personale riservato e apprensivo. Servizio veloce, ma io ho preso un piatto di patate riso e cozze, secondo me era preparato, congelato e scongelato al momento e messo nel forno. Ho trovato una parte all interno freddo. Invece gli spaghetti all assassina erano buoni. Ci ritorneremo ma non prenderò questa portata.

11/10/2025: Service was great, very nice atmosphere. Highly recommend the pasta, very good! But I would not recommend the beef tagliata.
05/10/2025: affordable fine dining in Bari. Lobster tortellini is out of the world. Wife loved the pesto spaghettone. Beef tagliata was not that great though. Service was great despite a waiter being in training (everyone has to start somewhere!). Great vibe and welcomed even without reservations. There is a service charge of 3 euro per person but comes with complimentary bread and dessert. Would come back.
