Fantastically delicious food and definitely a place worth going to for the food! The restaurant has a really homely atmosphere, like eating at a relative's house.

This was an excellent experience. The best pasta I’ve ever had in my life and the best Roman food during my visit to Rome. Everything was made to perfection, service was great. This restaurant and dining experience will be something I’ll remember forever.

We ate here following the recommendations we read and were very disappointed. The seating is very crowded and the food was tasteless and lacking seasoning. The dishes were not meticulously prepared and not served nicely and there was a feeling of indifference. The restaurant is expensive and completely not worth the price.

I loved everything about this historic trattoria located in the historic center. You're transported back 50 years! Now run by the son and his wife, they've managed to maintain the same charm. The quality of the food is excellent, and the portions are gigantic! They also have a good wine selection. The menu is classic Roman fare, but their specialty is porcini mushrooms.

One of the few original Roman restaurants left in the center of Rome, where most restaurants are overly touristy. At Pietro Valentini, you can feel a bygone era, made of ancient traditional flavors. Local specialties, all kinds of pasta, excellently prepared by chef Gabriele. In the dining room, Simona is extremely friendly and always attentive to her guests' needs. I highly recommend it.

02/11/2025: We recommend trying the restaurant; you won't be disappointed! We were quite a large group, yet from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a genuine smile, the kind that makes you understand that hospitality here isn't a formality, but a value. The restaurant is bright, with attention to detail but without being overbearing. Tastefully decorated. The aromas wafting from the kitchen already promised something, but the reality exceeded all expectations. We started with mixed appetizers that seemed painted on a plate, delicious and beautiful. Then came the first courses—a treat for the palate. Impeccable service, perfect timing, and a bill that, surprisingly, was more than fair considering the quality and attention to every detail. We all left with a smile, satisfied not only with good food, but also with a wonderful feeling. A special thanks to Lola and Angela, professional and kind. The love they put into their work shines through, and they know how to make you feel good. In short: a place where you eat well, feel good, and immediately want to return. A full five stars, and if I could, I'd give one more for the kindness of the staff.
