Pier De Cat Bistro In Castelmola

We had the pleasure of spending our first evening as a married couple in Castelmola, and by pure chance we came across this place. The owner, who was closing, didn't hesitate to welcome us when we looked out to ask if it was still possible to eat something. With great kindness he had us sit at the outside tables and served us some typical dishes, including delicious arancini seasoned with a tasty concoction prepared by him. What can I say... the food was exquisite, but even more exquisite was the meeting with the owner: a generous, simple and authentic person. A heartfelt thank you, because it is precisely these small, great experiences that remain forever in the memories.

I recommend the Sicilian goulash soup and a glass of wine. Service 5+

What a little Gem. Incredibly kind host who was putting out some of the best food we have had in our trip so far. That spinach and cheese arancini was life changing. We got a panini, two arancini, drinks and desserts.

Probably one of the nicest people in the world, the owner of this small but lovely bar, where you can have an excellent breakfast and enjoy a fantastic view. We absolutely loved it... Thank you all!!!

Was super excited to try this place based on the stellar reviews. The almond wine spritz was fantastic but unfortunately the food was a different story. The bruschetta was soooo incredible stale and the arancini was not crispy or warm enough. Great owner/chef and very personable but the food was just disappointing. Also the last thing I want to hear when I’m in an Italy is American rock music.

Posto alla mano , si mangia bene, molto buona zuppa tipo gulasch siciliano, proprietario simpatico e molto gentile . Il paese è bellissimo

Magari a qualcuno potrà pure dare l'impressione di un bar ma quando a Castelmola non volava una Mosca di sera, abbiamo trovato solo lui aperto e siamo stati accolti con grande solarità dal proprietario che subito ci ha messo a nostro agio. A me è piaciuto tutto, soprattutto lo spritz al vino alla mandorla che mi ha consigliato. Non metto 5 stelle perché secondo me è da rifare il menù e dare spazio anche ai primi; ci ha cucinato uno spaghetto aglio e olio che ancora me lo sogno la notte. Complimenti e un saluto da Pozzallo.
