Pier De Cat Bistro In Castelmola

A little gem. Even though it is right in the middle of all of Castelmola, it is quiet and peaceful, with a fantastic view of the mainland. The host couple are extremely friendly and happy to tell you about things. The food was lovely and fresh. Wine was lovely in half and full liters. All in all a fantastic experience

During our three-day stay in Castelmola, we had breakfast here every day and can wholeheartedly recommend it. We've rarely met such a friendly, unobtrusive, and helpful owner. The food is simple but truly delicious. There are great savory paninis and sandwiches, and a fantastic granita with brioche. We'd love to come back, and a visit to PierdeCat is a must during any stay in Castelmola!

The service here might just be the best in Europe. The staff were both very friendly and spoke English well (although very quickly). The food was delicious and great value for money! The arancini was especially filling, unlike the arancini I'd had at cafes in Taormina. The almond wine was also really delicious. I highly recommend it.

This is truly the pinnacle of kindness... Living in Europe for 6 years... I already had no expectations for service or kindness..! The service here is truly the best! As of August 2025, pasta and seafood isoto are around 10 euros, which is really cheap considering it is a resort area..! The taste is like home cooking and the portions are not large, but it is perfect for lunch. The arancini is also very delicious ㅋㅋ If you come to Castelmola, this bistro is definitely worth a visit! The outdoor table view is a bonus.

I'm from Rome and went there on Monday, August 25th with my wife, daughter, and dad, who's from Catania. I have to say it was excellent: location, food, prices despite the location, and especially the owner, who was incredibly kind and a true audiophile.

Stunning views, very friendly service, delicious almond wine, and very good, inexpensive food. Everything was great.

Posto alla mano , si mangia bene, molto buona zuppa tipo gulasch siciliano, proprietario simpatico e molto gentile . Il paese è bellissimo
