I found the cheese quality poor, so I had a pico buco margarita, which is a strong cheese. The tomato sauce wasn't the right consistency. The flavor was completely lacking. Definitely not worth the wait.

I arrived around 8 p.m. and the line was veeeery long, but it went by pretty quickly considering the number of people there were—about an hour. The pizzas are very traditional, and the service is excellent—attentive, lively, and fast. I ordered a salad and a pizza, and it was enough for two people. The water is a pretty big bottle, so it's easy to share. - a Coke, water, and pizza came to 32.50 euros.

The best Neapolitan pizza I've ever had. The service was very good. We waited in line for 40 minutes, but once you get in, the service is good and fast. The tiramisu isn't up to par, so I'm taking a point off the food.

A truly excellent pizzeria in Rome's historic center. You have to wait in line to get in (it took us an hour to get seated), but it's worth it. The pizza is incredibly light and delicious, made with top-quality ingredients. Fast and impeccable service, but the prices are decidedly high, including the €2.50 cover charge.

Even though I waited about 40 minutes, I thought it was worth the wait. I had the basic margherita and yellow zucchini pizza. The zucchini pizza was full of pumpkin flavor and was delicious.

This place is definitely worth a 15/20 minute wait in the queue on the opposite side of the road. Once in the service is fast and the place is buzzing! We really enjoyed the excellent pizzas made with fresh light dough and my parmesan and eggplant pizza was particularly good. Prices are very reasonable. If you try pizza once in Rome, Piccolo Buco is the place to go!

If you're in the area, stop by, but don't expect the glossy hype of trendy, vintage-inspired venues: when you eat the supplì, pizza, and baked calzone (which deserves a special mention, in my opinion the best in the city), you'll find yourself in the most authentic Rome and will be pampered by memories.

20/10/2025: Neapolitan food and excellent pizza a little noisy but worth it and they are very quick in service
12/10/2025: After the third time, and after the first two proved to be an excellent discovery, I have to make a specific comment: the pizza dough was decidedly improved, but the toppings were very tasteless on both pizzas, despite both having smoked provola among the specials... I was disappointed. We can confirm the deliciousness of the fried foods, and specifically the frittatine, which were truly noteworthy. This review, precisely because it wasn't our first time, and precisely because we returned with confidence from our first experiences, shouldn't be interpreted as a criticism, but rather as an incentive to return to the standards this pizzeria is known for. A small point, but one that we realized was accidental: the service was lacking, and the entire chain seemed to have gone haywire at some point. I repeat, we're convinced it was just a fluke.
