Piccola Osteria Km Zero In Foggia

Osteria where you feel pampered and at home. The food is homemade but cooked with a lot of attention to the ingredients (strictly local) and with a lot of love. For us, an obligatory stop on Sunday. Today an extraordinary burnt wheat troccolo with sausage tips sauce and a very tender beef stew. What more do you want from life? A house liqueur? There's that too!

Tried it during lunch break, thanks to the suggestion of friends; the outside is not particularly inviting but as soon as you open the door you enter a modern but warm dining room like "grandma's"! The menu already provides a clear possibility of choice but then the owner, explaining the dishes, certainly gives excellent advice for choosing based on tastes. The food, although simple, is generally made using products that are easily available locally and is very tasty for particular combinations, even if not typical of traditional Apulian cuisine. Definitely worth trying again without hesitation!

Deliziosa trattoria dove tutto trasfonde amore per la cucina e i suoi particolari. Dall'accoglienza familiare della titolare, all'arredamento, caldo e colorato, che invoglia a rimanerci, proprio come a casa! Le materie genuine tutte km 0 sono proposte in portate che strizzano l'occhio al multietnico, senza dimenticare le proprie radici: affettati e formaggi dauni, cipolle e zucchine in agridolce,cannellini, orecchiette al grano arso... Ma anche un rivisitato gulash "terrone" o lo agnello con mandorle e salsa di prugne secche. Per concludere, il profumo dei fiori d'arancio sprigionato dalla ricotta fresca dei cannoli e la cioccolata fusa della mattonella vegana, inebriano i sensi... Tutto accompagnato da un caffè servito con la moka, servito nelle tazzine di porcellana decorata, del "servizio buono", come si faceva una volta con gli ospiti di riguardo. Il prezzo altamente competivo e il comodo parcheggio lo rendono perfetto. Provatelo.

Quiet restaurant with simple but really quality food. I was here by chance and following the other positive reviews I decided to stop for lunch. Sublime Orecchiette alla crudaiola. You can see the commitment and love for their work.

The first choice 0 km ingredients and the love they put into their work are the secrets of this place. Welcoming and prepared staff. A real tavern, simple but tasty food!
