The only downside is the tables at the entrance, which are very close to the door, but that can be overlooked!

Wonderful atmosphere, ancient stone building and authentic, romantic and warm design.
Excellent service even for English speakers.
And excellent food.
We ordered a cheese and sausage platter, meat-filled ravioli, pizza with chestnuts, caramelized onions and brie and pizza with buffalo cheese and basil.
For dessert we had a warm chocolate cake and a chocolate cake with pears.
The dishes were delicious, perfect in terms of seasoning. We enjoyed it very much

If you happen to be passing through Sesto Calende, you should stop at this restaurant. It's worth the trip.
Oh, and if you're just going there, even better: remember to make a reservation.

The atmosphere was fantastic, the restaurant expands towards the back. However, the pizza was very hard, we had difficulty cutting it.

I arrived with my partner without a reservation and we were immediately greeted warmly by the staff who pamper you and make you feel at home. Congratulations! Stunning location, especially the area with the fireplace!
Superlative menu with top-quality products! I tried the phenomenal burnt wheat pizza and the delicious pumpkin cheesecake! Highly recommended! 5 stars +++++

Very refined atmosphere with a few tables inside, and friendly, welcoming staff. I recommend booking in advance to be safe, although I went on a Sunday from around 1:20 PM until 2:00 PM, and there were probably 4-5 tables occupied. I ordered 1L of still water and the Barese pasta made with burnt wheat dough, which was truly excellent. Total: €20

We found this place by chance after landing late in Milan, on our way to our apartment — and what a gem it turned out to be! The restaurant is amazing, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, even though we arrived after 10 pm. They looked after us so well and even offered us wine and food to take away, which was a lovely surprise. Fantastic service, great atmosphere, and delicious food — we couldn’t have asked for more!
