We stumbled upon it by accident, but it was truly a lucky coincidence! A very, very nice place, fast and professional service, a very welcoming team who tried to accommodate our requests as best as possible, and then... amazing pizza, perhaps the best I've ever had. If I had to find a criticism, but only because criticism helps us grow, it would be that the menu doesn't offer a huge selection, but what they do offer is truly excellent. We'll definitely be back!

I've been frequenting this restaurant in the center of Sesto Calende, just steps from the Ticino River, for years. The restaurant, with its small indoor dining room, offers an exceptional atmosphere, especially in the winter. The menu includes carefully prepared first and second courses using quality ingredients. The pizzas are superb, better than or equal to the renowned Neapolitan ones. Excellent desserts. Extensive wine list. Prompt and attentive service. All managed by the very kind and professional Mrs. Paola. The prices are absolutely in line with the service and quality of the restaurant. Reservations are required. It's always busy.

We dined at this restaurant in the small interior room with exposed brick and original historic flooring. The whole thing was aesthetically pleasing and evocative. We ordered an antipasto platter with truly high-quality cured meats and cheeses. The gnocco fritto they brought us, on the side, was truly remarkable. Cooked to perfection, tasty, fragrant, and with an innovative breading. I frequent the province of Reggio Emilia and know what that means. We continued with their risotto containing almonds and real apricots; this too was very inviting and innovative in its explosion of flavors. In my opinion, I would have used fewer almonds overall. The service was kind and respectful, but the only thing that bothered me was the price of the glasses of wine. Prices from 7 to 10 euros are significant; one would be happy with two or three glasses, but not at these prices. The final bill was in line with the quality of the restaurant. I really appreciate the fact that when you go to the cashier, they immediately show you the pre-bill, let you review it and comment on it, and then print out the final receipt at checkout. Many other establishments only tell you the total amount verbally and only give you the itemized bill after you've paid. Well done!

A truly welcoming place, enhanced by the kindness and helpfulness of the owner, Paola. The staff is friendly and always attentive. We ate wonderfully: both the à la carte menu and the pizza were top-notch. Highly recommended!

The staff were incredibly friendly and did everything they could to understand us in French. The pizzas were delicious, the panna cotta was amazing, and the setting was adorable.
