I took a lunch break at Piada 52 after a morning of running errands in the area, and the experience was decidedly positive. It's one of those places that doesn't aim to impress with special effects, but does what it's supposed to do: a tasty piadina, fresh ingredients, and quick service. The place is simple, clean, and well-organized. Despite the rush hour, the staff was quick, courteous, and very helpful—qualities I especially appreciate when I'm short on time. The menu is extensive, with classic combinations and more modern variations, without unnecessary overstatement. I ordered a piadina with squacquerone and arugula and one with prosciutto: both were well-filled, warm, and made with a thin yet sturdy dough that doesn't fall apart or become rubbery. You can tell they put a lot of care into the preparation. The prices are also fair for the area and the quality offered. My only complaint: the interior space is a bit limited, and at busier times, it can be difficult to find a seat for a leisurely meal. Nothing serious, but it's good to know if you're coming in a group or prefer to sit down. Overall, Piada 52 is a reliable choice for those who want a well-made piadina, without endless waits or surprises. A place that works, and deserves its four stars.
