April 2025 was an incredible discovery for me when I tried Piacere Molise in Rome, located in Via Candia, a stone's throw from the Vatican.
Recommended to me widely by various acquaintances, I was able to see their cuisine, their dishes all cooked with love and maximum attention, always rigorously fresh and respectful of the Molise tradition, ranging with a vast menu, from meat to fish, from appetizers to desserts up to the Roman pinsa.
There was a wonderful confirmation and great satisfaction in having tasted some dishes, prepared as if our grandmothers or mothers had made them. I will be sure to return to try their other dishes.

It's difficult to find a cheap place in the Vatican museum area that prepares genuine cuisine. Without formulas oriented towards tourists, this is one of the few exceptions. You can eat for €20 (first course, sweet water and a glass of wine) and the dishes are not of good quality and are not mini portions that leave you hungry.

A hidden gem. The Pinsa was the best food we had on our whole trip. Tiramisu was also definitely homemade. Chef himself brought the food, and you could taste that he really cares about his cooking. The place is rather small but unique with a great atmosphere.

Cena gradevole e bella atmosfera interna. Rapporto qualità prezzo nella media locale. Due primi (mezze maniche con funghi e capperi) veramente delicati e gustosi, due carciofi alla giudia ben preparati ed un dolce della casa veramente buono, meritano do sicuro un buon giudizio ed il merito di essere consigliato.

Buena comida y precios. Fuimos al Museo Vaticano por 3 - 4 horas y necesitábamos un descanso relajante. Este restaurante era el lugar correcto! Muy buen servicio, buena comida y una tranquila experiencia relajante. Comimos ñoquis y pizza. Nos sentimos como si tuviéramos suerte de encontrar este restaurante. ¡Pruébalo y lo disfrutarás!
