The staff are very friendly and the portions are so large that it's hard to finish everything. There's seating inside and a bathroom.

We love Perche No! The gelato is excellent, particularly the summer fruit flavors (watermelon, cantaloupe, apricot) and nut (hazelnut, pistachio). Note that since they only use fresh ingredients, that fewer flavors are available in the winter, but there are always good choices. Each time we visit Florence, we go to Perche No at least two times a day (it would be three times a day, but they are not open for breakfast ); in summer, when they have longer hours, we go 3-4 times a day (twice for gelato, and 1-2 times for their watermelon granita). In addition to great gelato, the staff are really friendly, even during the summer when the lines are long. We are in the process of moving to Florence, and I am not joking when I say that we eliminated all apartments outside a 20 min walk from Perche No.

This was my first gelato in Italy. It was delicious. The one on the left is lemon and strawberry, refreshing and familiar. It's delicious. The one on the right is pistachio and sesame? The pistachio is 99% similar to Busan's Horang♡Jel♡Tteok pistachio. It made me realize that they're making a similar taste in Korea to the original. The highlight of this place is the sesame flavor. The official name is milk with honey and sesame seeds. You have to try this. It's a gelato flavor I've never tried before, and it's perfect for Korean palates. If I go back, I'll get this. Highly recommended~

I ordered white sesame (very fragrant with lots of sesame seeds), lavender (you can see dried lavender pieces inside), and straccitella. Ordering all three flavors together was amazing.

Just so-so. Italy is famous for lemons and pistachios, so I bought two, but they were just so-so. Not really delicious!

The bisteca is delicious and so soft! It melts on the mouth. The restaurant is pretty charming, romantic wirh beautiful frescos on the walls

28/02/2026: Exceptional, if I may say so, the schiacciate were even overstuffed 😊. Everyone was so kind, from the girl at the cashier (who let me try a wonderful leek lampredotto) to the girls in charge of preparation. Everything was fresh, very fast. Congratulations!!!

21/10/2025: I had read about this restaraunt on the Michelin guide, though sadly it did not meet our expectations. We had the five course tasting menu. The carpaccio of celeriac with hazelnuts and pomegranate was an interesting take, good mix of textures. The next course was the egg with onion mousse, great dish with nice flavour. Came with a delicious pastry which my partner and I had to split, it should have come with two for the price and presumed quality of food. Next course was a pasta with truffle, was fine. Too simple. For the main course one of us had ordered chicken and the other pork, they seemed to be cooked in the exact same sauce with same side vegetables. I thought this was lazy, should have been different for the different meats. Last course was a sesame foam with berries. I understand the idea of being inventive with textures, but it was bitter, heavy and did not present well as a dessert. We chose to have the wine pairing with it, the pouring was very small (probably 4 or 5 oz per glass), and prosecco was mid meal which was odd, not worth the price of 45 euros per person. The server was friendly and prompt but the service was often awkward and disjointed as she was having to train someone during a busy night.
20/10/2025: The food is very good and of high quality. We had a 5 course testing menu and every dish was delicious and very well made. The only remark is that there were no non-alcoholic cocktails to pair with the testing menu (only bio lemonades, which actually were not suitable for the dishes served because too sweet). Also, the knives to cut the meat were not sharp enough (just a suggestion for the future to sharpen or change them) :D
