Peppino In Monreale

Might be the best pasta (the swordfish pasta) I’ve had in my life.

Delicious dishes, enjoyed at the covered outdoor tables in a quiet corner of the city. Excellent service and friendly staff. I highly recommend it, especially the pizzas and calzones.

Trattoria Peppino is a blend of aromas and kindness. The focaccia and pizza are delicious, and the owner is helpful and friendly. The quality/price ratio is more than excellent.

Very good and simple Sicilian cuisine!!!

It's a nice place to stay and the staff is really nice, but quite overpriced for the average food that's served there.

My uncle and I, three weeks ago, arrived in Monreale, attracted by the local monuments; feeling a little peckish for the twelfth hour, we opted for this place: my uncle enjoyed the experience, I was struck by the taste of hair lotion, and by the same ones found in the pizza dough. I therefore decided to ask our table neighbors Sebastian and Gretha to allow me to taste their Italian dish and concluded that my pizza must have been mixed incorrectly. The staff proved to be very courteous and quickly brought us bottles of water, however I would recommend taking better care of sanitizing them, without excluding the additional cutlery, both of which were dirty with old dishes and what appeared to me to be dust.

Fresh food, bread seemed all made in a wood oven, very good, kindness and excellent timing. All in a corner of simplicity and beauty in Monreale.

A few steps from the Monreale cathedral. Simple atmosphere but good food. Excellent focaccia.

Very nice service, mediocre food. A bit touristy.
