The pizzeria is located in the streets of a quaint and charming village, which lends it a pleasant atmosphere. It's a shame, however, that the road from the parking lot to the pizzeria is marked by steps that aren't particularly comfortable; it would be helpful to know this before visiting. As for the interior, it's very welcoming, and the staff is truly helpful and friendly. It's a shame about the food; expectations were high, but the reality was unfortunately quite disappointing. In this case, I wasn't satisfied with either of the two pizzas (Margherita sbagliato and Cruscardella Lucana). The dough on both was slightly undercooked. The Margherita sbagliato isn't anything special, a pizza that tastes a bit bland—meh. In the Cruscardella, on the other hand, you can only taste the strong flavor of the scamorza, the bell pepper is practically nonexistent, and the mortadella is completely overshadowed by the overly strong flavors of scamorza and orange. On the other hand, all the fried foods are very good, although I find some of them a bit overpriced. The commitment and quality are there, but I think there's a lack of attention to detail, and personally, I'd revise some of the pizzas on the menu. Expectations are too high for a pizza that doesn't surpass many other lower-end pizzerias by much.

Nothing to say, the absolute best.

I ate a good classic fried calzone that didn't give me any digestive problems, but unfortunately those who tried to eat a classic margherita and a 4 stagioni were disappointed. The edge of the pizza wasn't cooked and the tomato was a bit acidic. Maybe it wasn't worth having traveled 90 km.

We are three people who booked two months in advance, so the wait greatly increased our desire to try this renowned restaurant. The setting is very beautiful and charming, but I can't say the same about the treatment of some of the staff. We were charged an 11 euro service charge at the end of the bill "for the service provided." This was not very warm, with bored and impatient looks directed at the customer during every single decision regarding the pizza selection. The pizza and appetizers tasted very good, but to be honest, I expected to be truly amazed by the flavors, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

Pizzeria ad altissimo livello tutto ottimo

Nulla da dire. Le pizze più buone che abbiamo mai mangiato. Leggerissime nell’impasto e mai sentito così tanto sapore negli ingredienti di una pizza. Prezzo dei menu degustazione assolutamente coerente con l’esperienza, anche perché sono tanti tranci di pizza e non si resta per niente con la fame.

Cinque stelle sono decisamente poche, ma è il massimo che posso mettere. Mancavo da diversi anni in questa pizzeria, ci sono stato di recente ma devo dire che ha mantenuto i suoi alti standard che l’hanno resa famosa anni fa. Accoglienza perfetta, siamo entrati 5 minuti dopo l’orario stabilito dalla prenotazione. Personale gentile e garbato, con il Maestro Franco Pepe che girava tra le varie sale per rassicurarsi che andasse tutto bene. Consiglio in particolare il Ciro, un cono di pizza fritta. Come pizza ho preso invece la “scarpetta”, una delle sei specialità. Devo dire che è una delle cose più buone che io abbia mai mangiato. Buona anche la pizza a libretto. Ne vale assolutamente la pena, è il top!
