Nice small whine shop and tapas restaurant. We enjoyed mixed tapas and a decent glass of whine. Very kind and helpful owner.

On our tour of Puglia we had a couple of nights in Brindisi. Not sure where to head, we found “Penny” (named because of a single coin found, when the restaurant was first being built) and we are so glad we did. Our Italian is poorer than it should be (= none) but Cristian and Antonella helped us beautifully. We shared the kind of wine we like and were given a tasting before we chose (what was a perfect) local version. The full wine selection is incredible and very reasonable priced. The food was beautiful too and Cristian made some extra recommendations of local and family made dishes which we may not have tried but are so glad we did. Juts great hosts and great chefs (shout out to Mum and Dad). We immediately booked to go back on night 2 - I mean, why wouldn’t you..

An excellent food and wine experience. The only flaw is the portions, which are too small for the high price.

Este es un increíble restaurante que sirve platos estilo Tapas. Entramos sin reserva y fuimos cálidamente recibidos por el propietario Christain. Tienen una increíble selección de vinos y Christain preguntó qué variedades nos gustaron y recomendó un maravilloso Chianti Classico. Él sugirió una serie de ofertas que podrían armar y nos alegramos de sentarnos y dejar que él proporcionara los deliciosos platos creativos de su cocina. Recomendamos encarecidamente este restaurante a cualquiera que visite Brindisi.

Il locale si presenta come elegante, i piatti sono realizzati con ingredienti di qualità e interessanti accostamenti di sapori, buoni i prezzi in rapporto alla qualità dei prodotti. Servizio eccellente e personale molto gentile. Particolare attenzione è riservata alla scelta del vino con competenza e passione. Oltre ai piatti delle foto possiamo consigliare le orecchiette con pomodoro e cacioricotta e fritto misto dell'Adriatico.
