After visiting Lake Como for over 10 years, this is just the sort of place we are often looking for, old school, cheap and strong quite good spritzes, not touristy, working Wi-Fi, in the town Square of Argegno (we were staying in Brienno one town over, where we visited almost exactly 10 years ago and whilst we visit Lake Como often, we have been at hotels and not been back to Brienno or Argegno since then, so it was nice to be back this summer (Brienno and the flat we rented right over the water just as charming as we remembered - Argegno more charming than we remembered), and we ended up coming here several times for Limoncello and Campari Spritzes. My boyfriend also got Coffee for takeaway to put in the fridge and drink chilled the following mornings. Great to sit outside and relax.

Very good pastry, for breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake with the kindness of the waitress.

A small pastry shop along the lakeside promenade. It's a very intimate, historic place with an old-world yet familiar feel, directly overlooking the town square. The brioches are delicious.

A gem on Lake Como, we had breakfast overlooking the lake, a perfect cappuccino, just the right temperature, just the right amount of cream, perfectly brewed coffee, and the same goes for the milk. The decor is antique but very tasteful, the place is clean, and the service is friendly and attentive. There's a magic in the air that's hard to match. I hope you stop by for breakfast or a snack! Congratulations!

The croissants were very delicious and the coffee was also amazing! I highly recommend the pistachio croissant but every pastry looked so good!! Very friendly staff and a cute cat 🐱❤️

A historic café... for me, a place steeped in memories. A classic for the people of Como who, on motorbikes or bicycles, stopped here for breakfast. For those who want to try them, the small plum cakes are another symbol of the place: alongside the traditional ones with candied fruit and raisins, you can now also find ones with chocolate chips. I'll add a personal note: I was moved by the humanity of the owners and their willingness to help when needed (in my case, after a small incident with an insect that stung me). ⸻ 🇬🇧 A historic café... for me, a place filled with memories. Absolutely delicious pastries! For €1.50 each, we sampled the entire display case – definitely try them 🤩 The coffee is delicious too. Take-away is also available.
