Came across this place by chance a couple days ago and have returned 3 times since. Delicious pastries, wide variety and great value. Also, very friendly staff.

While the cakes themselves were nice, the man who served us was rude. Obnoxious clearly into his phone more than serving us and being somewhat stuck up with my friend's best attempt to speak Italian seemingly consistently misunderstanding which cake she wanted, one or two pieces of. He then proceeded to play with his phone as he was half wrapping our package and generally seemed just annoyed at our existence. The taste of cakes was definitely not worth the attitude that we were given in this place
In a 4-day holiday, 2 breakfasts were had here: the sette veli, fried iris and granita (with almonds) with briochina are recommended.
Many had recommended it to us, I understand why.
The only "flaw": there are few seats, but it is acceptable to eat standing up for such good things

I gave it 5 stars because it deserves a lot, the quality and excellence of the products are king, the environment is nice but a little narrow to have a completely relaxing breakfast, the owner, or at least I think she is, has her own way of managing the place.
If I am lucky enough to return to Palermo you will be a guaranteed stop.

Excellent pastry shop not very central but with excellent quality and well prepared products.
Wide assortment of typical Sicilian products.
Friendly and sociable staff.
Very honest prices

Abbiamo fatto colazione in 2 pasticcerie Cappello in due zone diverse di Palermo, una vicina a Palazzo Normanni e una vicino al teatro Politeama! Top tutte e due!!🤩😋
Iris insuperabile!! Ottime anche le spremute! Così come la colazione salata! Quindi una garanzia per iniziare nel modo giusto la giornata 😊

Pasticceria proprio dietro il Palazzo dei Normanni con un ottima varietà di dolci tipici. Il cannolo è davvero eccezionale! Prezzi nella media del posto.
