I had breakfast at this pastry shop during my entire stay in Palermo. The pastries are truly excellent and the prices are very fair. The place is small and has limited seating, unfortunately; the outside seating is right on the street. I didn't like the fact that the owner kept yelling at the employees; it made the place noisy and chaotic. The staff also seemed unwelcoming.

Amazing. Pastries as beautiful as they are delicious. Good coffee, lovely chocolate. Friendly, decent prices, and they deliver to a lot of restaurants too, like the excellent Osteria Alivàru. If I lived near to this place I'd either be huge or I'd have vitamin deficiency. Not a lot of veg here.

Considered by many Palermitans, and others, to be the best pastry shop in Palermo, and the numerous awards confirm this. Excellence is indeed at home here, and we can only confirm what many have already written: history, top-quality ingredients, knowledge, tradition, and dedication are their winning cards for satisfying the sight, the smell, and above all, the taste buds... As that guy used to say: seeing is believing.

Per tutti quelli di buona forchetta la pasticceria Cappello è una meta obbligata, la cucina siciliana è famosa per i dolci e Cappello ha i migliori della città.I dolci oltre a essere preparati da professionisti hanno materie prime eccellenti e la maggior parte tipiche della Sicilia

09/10/2025: A normal, enjoyable place. The locals call it "Da Mimmo." It has a lovely outdoor terrace, perfect for the warmer months. Its specialty? Its taralli, imported directly from Puglia: fennel and raisins. Outstanding.
