This artisanal pastry shop also offers gluten-free products, which are hard to find in good quality elsewhere. The staff at the counter are very friendly and courteous. This is definitely a pastry shop I recommend in Rome.

We went in to buy a Powerade and were told that all energy drinks had been removed. The staff was dated but still helpful. Seated tables both inside and outside. Wide selection of desserts, cakes, cream puffs, tea biscuits, and milkshakes, even though Carnival is over!

The pastry staff were incredibly kind, but the bar staff, on the other hand, were unfriendly and rude. I was there this morning and not even a "good morning"; I was the only one at the counter, and I had to repeat "good morning" twice only to be met with a condescending air. But the absurd thing is that while my husband was getting the receipt, I asked for coffee, and the annoyed reply was "receipt first." I replied that my husband was getting it right then... did the gentleman at the counter think I'd stolen €1.20? Where has the kindness and politeness toward a female customer gone? It's a shame... a historic bar with staff like that scares customers away. Edit: I thank the owner for the kind response! I really appreciate her apology, but it's not her fault... she created a historic bar and pastry shop with excellent products... the pastry staff, as mentioned, is truly very kind!
