Yesterday afternoon, I was running errands on Via Appia Nuova, and since I'm celiac, I thought I'd pop into Napoleoni for a dessert. But as soon as I walked in, I saw the gelato counter, so we tried the gelato. I'd always had disposable cups for years, but this time I got the medium cone with rum stracciatella, zabaglione, and hazelnut flavors (obviously, everything was gluten-free). I was blown away by the quality of the gelato, its lightness, and its intense flavor. The cone was crunchy and excellent. The staff, and I think the owner behind the counter, were incredibly kind. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for everything.

I found myself with friends and relatives for a visit to Rome, we stopped for a nice breakfast, everything was delicious. I recommend it if you find yourself in Rome.

This artisanal pastry shop also offers gluten-free products, which are hard to find in good quality elsewhere. The staff at the counter are very friendly and courteous. This is definitely a pastry shop I recommend in Rome.

We went in to buy a Powerade and were told that all energy drinks had been removed. The staff was dated but still helpful. Seated tables both inside and outside. Wide selection of desserts, cakes, cream puffs, tea biscuits, and milkshakes, even though Carnival is over!
