Coming off the train, it's nice to have some pasta. A pleasant spot on the square. Good service, with a choice of two types of pasta and very good fresh bread to mop up with sauce. Cheese is available for an extra 50 cents, but you should definitely order it. The Sprit is a very good, cold beer. Reasonable prices. Perfect for a quick bite when you're feeling peckish. Note that you order at the bar and you can clear your tray yourself (recycling bins are in front).

We stumbled upon this place by chance. It was around 9:00 PM, and unfortunately they didn't have all the toppings for the type of pasta we wanted on the menu, so we had to settle for what they offered. We really appreciated the helpfulness and kindness of the guy at the cash register, who tried to accommodate us. The pasta dishes were good, but unfortunately, I wasn't thrilled, especially since I would have liked something else on the menu. Overall, it's good, especially considering the moderate prices.

While dining, it was a lovely surprise in the heart of Matera. We tried the pasta with sausage and mushrooms (and it was good, perhaps the sauce was a little tasteless, but the sausage was really good) and the special of the day, which featured sausage cooked in beer (it was exceptional). We also tried the bread meatballs, which I particularly enjoyed. The prices are fair; let's say they're more than adequate for a quick lunch. The service is quite fast. I definitely recommend it.
