A welcoming and very well furnished restaurant, in the cellars of an ancient building. Outdoor table for the summer. A bar for cocktails at the entrance. Unexpectedly the menu is mainly based on fish, despite being on the hills that separate Chianti and Valdarno. Very fresh and excellent quality raw materials. Well prepared and presented dishes. Very professional and courteous service. Complete and detailed wine list. Average high price.

Ada D'Amato you were a pleasant discovery in Cavriglia, the place is well looked after and very welcoming, it feels like being at home, the service is pleasant and unhurried, you were followed from start to finish in a fantastic experience, the list of It has a wide selection of wines, I chose the 7-course tasting menu and they were excellent from the first to the last, you can perceive the passion and commitment of the chef, as well as the quality of the raw materials used, the home-made desserts. Prices are obviously appropriate to the type of venue. I highly recommend it and if I were to return to the area I would happily return.

Yesterday I discovered a place that aroused continuous emotions in me. The location is a continuous surprise until the last step where the dining room is not visible and therefore the short path of a few meters that guests have to take inside this beautiful structure to observe is beautiful. The furnishings are simple in shape and materials but enhance the taste and elegance of the details placed above the tables and in the room. The "waitress" immediately manages to put you at ease with education, professionalism and passion that emerges from her gaze and in her calm but clear tone when proposing the various menus. It is an environment that I define as more classy than elegant, in the sense that you can also go there dressed casually as an outfit and not be absolutely out of place; everything else "imposes" a certain behavior that enhances the class. I found the menus interesting, curious, simple, clear and easily consultable. I decided to take the 5-course tasting and a glass of bubbles, all in conversation with the dining room staff who described every single course in a clear and easily imaginable way. Even though I am "ignorant" about wines, the choice recommended to me was a winner. The wait between one course and another was very respectable as the dishes are all made at the moment and the types of bread presented were delirious! In a good way of course!!!
The dessert could not be missed and closed the circle of this high-level tasting journey!
I am not a chef, I am not an expert, I am a simple Italian citizen who loves to discover new places and flavors, then giving voice to the sensations I felt from the first to the last minute I was in the restaurant.
The clean toilets (not obvious) only confirmed the cleanliness, order and respect towards the customer who enters the "house".
Congratulations indeed and if I have to nitpick, perhaps those 2°C of extra heat yesterday wouldn't have been bad for us.
Distance is not a limit, if it's worth it and I did 100km willingly!!!

Sinceramente, si hubiera sabido antes que este restaurante sirve solo comida de pescado ahora, probablemente no habría venido.

Estuvimos aquí hace un par de años y todo fue perfecto.
Restaurante cambió de dueño tras covid y chef Ada D'Amato está sirviendo solo los mariscos.
Estaba un poco decepcionado, pero a mi esposa le encantan los mariscos, así que nos quedamos y pedimos las comidas.
¡Qué hallazgo! La chef Ada D'Amato es una maga alegre.
¡Ella creó un alimento tan grande, que incluso el comedor de carne como yo estaba en el séptimo cielo!

Pleasant surprise!! Well prepared dishes, excellent food and combinations. Exquisite waitress, refined place with attention to detail, even in the bathroom. Relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The bill is proportionate to the food served. Only flaw, but it happens where it's good, I would review the timing of the release of the dishes.

What a find! This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting in many trips to Italy. A beautiful setting, including a pleasant garden courtyard, a menu that changes daily to ensure fabulously fresh fish and seafood (our charming waitress, Silvana, advised that produce is sourced daily from Orbetello). Truly inventive menu respects the hero ingredient but adds the chef’s magic touch to elevate each dish into something really special.
Our server, Silvana, was perfect, too! She knew every part of the daily menu and very kindly explained each element of the sometimes quite complicated marriage of ingredients with grace and charm in excellent English. This is a destination restaurant worth travelling to and worth every cent of the fairly steep bill. (We dined early on a hot August night, hence the empty interior photos).Don’t miss this gem!
