We stumbled upon this small village by chance and it was a wonderful surprise. We had lunch here last Sunday and although we know Sundays are always chaotic the service was always attentive and present and although both rooms were full the waiting time was short. We ate two first courses and a steak that melted in your mouth and then finished with a delicious dessert. Very kindly they offered us the vin santo and once at the checkout they asked us if we would like a bitter. You are fantastic. Very good food. Very good place.

Siamo capitati qui casualmente prenotando in mattinata per il pranzo dato che eravamo di strada per Pomaia. È stata una piacevole sorpresa. Cibo ottimo con un menù "giustamente" ridotto dato la provenienza delle materie prime. Noi abbiamo preso due primi e una bistecca per secondo. Tagliolini al tartufo e pappardelle ai funghi veramente buoni. Anche la bistecca si scioglie in bocca e tagliata direttamente davanti a noi al tavolo. Servizio molto attento e gentile. Abbiamo concluso con due porzioni di mouse al caramello salato e hanno avuto anche l'accortezza di offrire un bicchierino di Vin Santo. Prezzo perfettamente in linea con quello che abbiamo mangiato. Se mi capiterà di ritornare in zona ci ritornerò sicuramente.

Un’osteria d’altri tempi come non se ne trovano più. Cibo semplice e genuino servito in un ambiente anch’esso semplice e a tratti caotico ma comunque accogliente. Personale affabile e prezzi contenuti. In definitiva un luogo ospitale.
