A surprise! We came to the shop because we had a smartbox they gave us. The staff immediately proved to be courteous, helpful, and professional. The food: to say it was excellent would be an understatement! We had a platter of cured meats and cheeses, tagliolini with truffles, Maremma-style wild boar, homemade desserts, coffee, and punch! Oh... I forgot: try the house wine, it's just as good as the more expensive bottles! The atmosphere... as relaxed as home! We'll definitely be back, perhaps with other friends of ours who love authentic places like yours! Congratulations! See you next time!

La Bottega is a quaint and typically Tuscan place, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The dishes we sampled were flavorful, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. It's definitely worth a stop for anyone who wants to savor authentic flavors in a traditional setting.

Dinner on Thursday evening (August 7th) probably they weren't expecting so many customers that there was only one waiter so the service was not efficient, for my tastes too much waiting, I will come back to taste really good dishes hoping for a different service.....

Excellent, authentic flavors, masterfully cooked, well-balanced to highlight the quality of the ingredients, often locally sourced. The cured meats and crostini are excellent; don't miss the mortadella, it has a flavor we unfortunately no longer remember. Excellent first courses, well-seasoned and varied; the pennette alla castellinese is a must-try! The Carini are truly worth it, even for those like me who aren't particularly fond of food, but their tartare is truly top-notch. But the side dishes are also worth trying: garden tomatoes, beans, artichokes, and whatever else the season offers. Finally, the desserts are excellent; I personally enjoyed their truffle, but they are all worth discovering. As for wines, there's a wide selection, but you can't miss the house wine. For an aperitif, I absolutely recommend it; it would be a shame. The quality/price ratio is absolutely commensurate. A very pleasant, lively, and engaging location—in short, not to be missed by anyone lucky enough to be passing through these enchanting areas.

A wonderful surprise: traditional Tuscan dishes in a rustic setting. Definitely worth a try; these are the places where you can truly experience the thrill of a holiday!

For me it is one of the most characteristic places in our area. The food is traditional from Tuscany and also from Castellina, always cooked with abundance. They don't charge for the service, which is rare if not unique in our area. Now that they have also opened an outdoor area it can also be used in the summer... There are often musical shows with interesting groups or solo singers.

Mbahhh.... The food might be average, but the wait is quite long. Be patient. The prices are very high for what we ate, especially considering the neglected location. I'm also responding to the owner's comment below. There are places where you can eat a little better for the same price, with added attention to both the customers and the outdoor garden. Anyway, don't worry, that's my opinion!

Da fuori è la classica trattoria di campagna ma la fiorentina dry aged 50 giorni é da ristorante stellato ! Servizio informale ma cordialissimo, prezzi non propriamente economicissimi ma li vale tutti. Da ritornare assolutamente!
