A real pub with a truly excellent selection of beers. The sandwiches are superb, and the staff is friendly and always ready to offer advice and encouragement.

For dinner on Tuesday night with a colleague, I ordered a Vasco, he ordered a Bob Marley, and then we split a Black Sabbath. For our appetizer, we had fried chicken strips with their spicy mayo-based sauce (plus a couple of beers and a Coke). Everything was extremely good. Friendly staff, but unfortunately, no separate bills.

The bread was not soft and I fairly do not understand how one can like it. Probably it is healthy. The Bob Marley was a disappointment. It was cooked in a strange way with a lot of oil and no special spices, just curry, but far away even from western mainstream version of chiken curry. I would try to change to a version of chicken and peppers cooked with soya sauce and honey.

The sandwiches are excellent, starting with the bread. It may seem obvious, but it isn't. There's truly something for everyone, and none of the sandwiches I've tried have left even a crumb of dissatisfaction.
The fried foods are spectacular: fries, chicken strips, cheese delicacies, and now even with a truly special onion "jam."
I'll leave the commentary on the beers to someone more knowledgeable, but I'm quite picky and have always been satisfied.
The dessert sandwich with bacon and Nutella may seem a bit overwhelming, but if you share it, it's truly the icing on the cake.
The staff is courteous and friendly, and they know how to adapt to the younger clientele, as well as families and those, like me, who were young in years past!
