13/04/2026: Yes, the property is really lovely… We chose this hotel because it was described as a small hotel with a spa in a quiet location. I hadn't initially noticed that it was adults-only, but that should make it even quieter. We were offered a set menu in the restaurant several times. Great, but when food intolerances are involved, gourmet chefs can get easily annoyed. I know this all too well, as I work in the industry. Finding the property was a bit of a challenge. Two old gates, a sign, and an intercom (common in the region) finally led us to the hotel. We received a friendly welcome and an update about our rooms, as we were informed that we unfortunately couldn't use the spa area. Apparently, this has been the case for some time, and it seems unlikely we'll be able to use it again anytime soon. Everything was very clean, modern, and stylish – the Italians certainly know how to do that… The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Quiet – somehow, the railway line running directly behind the hotel seems to have been overlooked in other reviews. Thanks to modern trains, this isn't a problem, but when a freight train rumbles by at night, it's more than just a distant perception.
It's admittedly a high-level criticism, but a high standard is what they aim to project, and that's reflected in the prices they charge. They advertise wellness facilities that aren't available, a tranquil atmosphere that's only partially achievable given the location, and it's supposed to be exclusively for adults, which wasn't true. This wasn't a deal-breaker for us, but overall, we were left with a nagging feeling that we didn't get what we expected.
In conclusion – yes, it's recommendable. The service is friendly and professional… A beautiful property, and you feel comfortable.
30/03/2026: What can I say? A magical place, a magnificent restaurant, and exquisite people. Kindness and attention to detail are the most evident aspects. Well done. You deserve the second star!
