One of the best bakeries in Bari! The focaccia barese here is unbeatable: crispy and crunchy, with just the right amount of burnt flavor that makes it unique, perfectly greasy and delicious. The staff is always friendly and warm, typical of the true Bari spirit. In addition to focaccia, they also offer traditional Apulian dishes, fragrant bread, and delicious rustici. A place that combines tradition and quality: highly recommended!

Last night, due to the Bari/Taranto train line being interrupted, I stumbled upon the Conticchio bakery. A truly welcome coincidence. I had an exceptional slice of focaccia barese! Delicious, tasty, succulent, and full of cherry tomatoes. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. For someone from the north, the norm is to pay before or immediately after ordering. Here, however, they let me enjoy my slice of focaccia at my leisure and made me a coffee. Given its deliciousness, I ordered another slice to go, and finally, with the typical southern Italian calm and hospitality, they seated me at the cash register. Total for two "delicious" slices and a coffee: €3.70. It will be a must-see on the return trip!

Nice place, where you can have a good coffee, a quick lunch or breakfast, also being in a good location and passing through for those going to the center. For me it was behind my house so I came almost always, always everything excellent, both sweet and savory. I also often ordered the focaccia barese to take home. Recommended.
