We had a great lunch…very authentic restaurant frequented by locals. Located in the square of a quiet neighborhood The service was great and the food really wonderful! We highly recommend

Trattoria Anzolo Raffaele is a fantastic find tucked away on a quiet street. The waiter was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and authentically Italian. I 100% recommend this hidden gem!

First evening in Venice: flight plan changed… ground staff strike… holiday apartment only reached shortly before 10 p.m.: still looking for one (2) places for dinner. Very friendly (pasta water poured out) but fish etc. still possible (..22.10) you have to know that restaurants in Venice close at 10.30 during the week. Received super fish platter (€27 per person) with drinks and espresso so €80-90 total! Quiet atmosphere on the terrace in the shade of the church: Conclusion: worth the money… recommended

Really good food, very friendly service and nice location! We paid €149,- for 2 glasses prosecco, 1 bottle of aqua, 1 bottle of wine, 2 anti pasti, 2 secondi (main courses) and 2 coffee. Would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to Venice!

05/08/2024: Perfeto, perfeto, perfeto, ma no ch'è WC qui. This place is brilliant for a light lunch; three sizes of mixed fried fish pots; various salads; polpette with aubergine & tomato; polpette with pumpkin and cheese etc. Soft drinks and many LOCAL wines ALL of which are VEGAN👍🏼. The wine is sold by the glass or by the bottle. The staff today were happy for us to use our basic Italian, but they also spoke clear English.
18/07/2024: First stop on our cicchetti tour. The fried seafood was good but the polenta was not my favorite.

26/08/2024: This is my favourite place. They have a huge selection and everything I tried was good (and I tried a lot of dishes). Especially recommend the Deluxe Kebab, the Margherita Pizza and the IPA beer. There are also many vegetarian and some vegan options. Update: Some years later I come here again and it's still just as good. Simply the best.
