A restaurant that perfectly represents Tuscany: an authentic atmosphere, carefully prepared dishes, and an excellent wine selection. The staff is friendly and always available, a place where you feel truly welcomed. Highly recommended!

I sat here by chance with my friends while wandering downtown. It was a coincidence, but we stayed by choice: excellent wines, a huge platter for five. Excellent, an aperitif to remember!

We found this place by chance, perfect for an aperitivo. Excellent quality products from Garfagnana, excellent wines, and more than fair prices. We were truly welcomed warmly; I encourage everyone to try Pane e Vino. And thanks also for the tips on Lake Gramolazzo!!!

Excellent food, the best of our week’s holiday. Fresh ingredients and beautifully balanced flavours. Very decent wine. Congratulations to the two chefs and the delightful staff. The atmosphere of the Piazza on a Friday evening was just the thing that had been missing in the more touristy places. Kids playing, folk of all ages enjoying a summer evening and a happy buzz. If you have bothered to read this review so far then do go and eat here. It’s a rare spot of authenticity in the increasingly bland world of touristification.

Great food, very nice staff and cozy atmosphere. Not the biggest portions but the quality was good so it felt like good value for the money still.

In cucina non è proprio che ci siamo, forse troppo microonde e poca genuinità; sulla carta del menù ti aspetti un trionfo di sapori che invece si perdono appena arrivano i piatti. Gli antipasti meglio dei primi. Molto positiva la gentilezza del personale, giovane e gentile. Se avete dei bambini forse è l’ideale per un aperitivo. La bella piazza su cui affaccia il ristorante si trasforma letteralmente in un ‘parco giochi’ a cielo aperto, dove i bambini giocano insieme e gli adulti si rilassano ai tavolini.

24/08/2025: A fantastic place. First of all, the ease of booking via Google. We did it because it was Friday evening and we expected the town to be packed, and it was. The atmosphere while dining on the street was very bucolic. It seems that at night they close the street and the establishments can take their terrace outside. In addition, we had live music. We ordered pasta with truffles which, despite the menu stating that the price depended on the market price of the truffle, came out to us for €15, a far cry from the €24-28 that nearby establishments cost.

27/08/2025: We went there for dinner without a reservation. The welcome was pleasant, and the food arrived quickly. From that point on, things went awry. There were bone fragments in the lasagna. We pointed this out to the waitress, and she explained that this was normal, as the ragù is made with rabbit, and some rabbit bones are too small to remove. There was no mention of this on the menu, and there was no information about it when ordering. We finished eating after the waitress informed us... because fishing bones out of your mouth isn't really nice. The table wasn't cleared, and at some point I asked for the bill. It arrived, and the plates were still on the table. When a second waiter saw this, a minor argument broke out between the waiters, and we weren't spoken to in a friendly manner again. We were glad when we finally left the place. It was a shame, because the atmosphere was very inviting and promising. Maybe it was just the wrong day.
