We had two beef tartares for appetizers, and two first courses: pici with cherry tomatoes and burrata, and pici carbonara with truffle. The tomato pici were perhaps a little undercooked, but everything was delicious. However, after dinner and leaving the restaurant, we started feeling bloated, and not a little. The result was that we didn't sleep very well that night. The atmosphere was lovely and well-kept, with impeccable service from the waiters.

The service was friendly and helpful, if a little slow to start with on a busy Saturday evening, bit there were prompt apologies for this. The food was excellent throughout, and it was a really pleasant and relaxed experience to spend along evening in the Osteria.

The best meat dishes in Florence are available here. The taste of Italian meat is incomparable. Highly recommended.

The best bread and lasagne in Florence! The restaurant was not busy during the lunch hours and it was easy to get a seat. A lovely and smiling waitress quickly served the table and brought the tastiest bread as a compliment. In most restaurants in Tuscany bread served in restaurants is unsalted and unpleasant to eat on its own, because traditionally people used to eat it with other salty foods like salami or aged cheese that had more than enough salt. It was extremely pleasant to enjoy fresh and finally salted bread :) I chose lasagne, it was brought to table quickly and it was perfect: flavourful traditional ragu, the freshest and most delicate pasta, rolled into thin layers, and the tastiest Béchamel I have ever tried! The dish was executed at the highest level, you could feel the care and love put into the dish❤️ The prices are not too high and are reasonable, the service fee is included in check, as everywhere else in Florence. I recommend visiting the place, they care about their guests and seem genuine and proud serving their food :)

Food was great and of typical florentine style. The wine choice was accordingly wonderful.

Food was excellent. Our server forgot we were there we felt. Never brought us bread or Parmesan for the pasta or checked on us. Yet all the people around us got attention although they had a different server. Great place tho!

Caffè Italiano was a wonderful discovery! The pizza was simply perfect, the best I’ve ever had. The dough was light, the ingredients fresh and authentic—a true masterpiece of Italian tradition. Moreover, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. An unforgettable experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting the city!

We stumbled upon this spectacular restaurant, with excellent service and perhaps the best cuisine we tried. It has a large wine cellar, and they offered us a good local wine. The price was very affordable. Thank you.

Excellent! Frequented by locals, it has great pizza and everything (food and drinks) is cheaper than at restaurants closer to the main tourist attractions. A real find!
