Osteria Il Torchio lived up to its hype - we were a group of 7 Italians and had an amazing time indulging in a hearty lunch on a rainy, chilly Saturday. The place is a short uphill stroll from Dogliani's main square, and it's got loads of charm with its brick walls and wine bottles galore. The food's dead traditional (loved especially the antipasti alla piemontese) service was on point - young, friendly staff, quick and attentive. And bonus points for the spotless toilet! All in all, a fair 35€ pp for an appetizer, a main, shared dessert, wine and water. Reservation is recommended. Grazie e a presto!

A very pleasant restaurant with very friendly staff. Even though we arrived at 2:00 PM on a Sunday, the owner didn't hesitate to seat us (the restaurant was quite full). A three-course menu (starter, main course, dessert) for €35. Simple but well-prepared dishes and generous portions. We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. A place to remember...

Divine food and the owner is old-fashioned beef. Fantastic.

For my father-in-law's birthday, we dined here on a Saturday evening. We immediately liked it because, since there were 10 of us, we had a round table, which was perfect because everyone was able to chat. The interior is very beautiful, with exposed brick vaults. The waitress was very kind and served quickly. The traditional Piedmontese dishes were excellent, with generous portions and excellent value. We were all pleasantly satisfied. I would definitely recommend it and will be back soon.

Every gesture was thoughtful, every explanation clear, every attention sincere. The ambiance helped make the experience even more enjoyable: elegant but not formal, warm, with meticulous attention to detail, with an atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy the moment. The cuisine also lived up to expectations: well-executed dishes, quality ingredients, and balanced flavors, tastefully presented without excess. A truly successful lunch, one my wife and I will fondly remember. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I had lunch here on Easter Monday! Simply wonderful! The welcome was warm and the setting elegant! I'd say the menu was exceptional, with generous portions and beautifully presented! The place is also very clean, with a truly evocative church inside! We'll definitely be back with friends and family! Well done!!! I'll add this...we were here on December 26th, and we once again had a wonderful meal in a wonderful Christmassy atmosphere! We've actually made reservations for dinner with friends... Well done!
