I booked a table a few days in advance for Saturday evening at 9:30 pm, and the owner was very kind in accepting the reservation even though it was already quite full and it was late. As soon as we arrived, he greeted us warmly with a big smile (not everyone does that). They seated us in the last room. Beautiful, exposed brick with vaulted ceilings, with wines serving as the decor. We ate very well, the starters were fantastic. Wide selection of local wines. Very kind and friendly staff. They also recommended the wine, and it was very good (Nebbiolo and then a Moscato). Just one word: wonderful. Thank you for the wonderful dinner. Then the bill... Thank you so much ☺️ If I were to return to that area, I would definitely go back.

Il Torchio is a fantastic restaurant in a beautiful building with a chapel. The service is excellent, and the food is exquisite! Parking in the back is also a plus. In short, highly recommended in Dogliani-Alto.
