Osteria Via Leopardi In Recanati

We stopped after visiting the poet's house, attracted above all by the scent of inviting food that this tavern gave off, and we were not at all disappointed, on the contrary! We ate the platter of cured meats from the Marche region, chopped meat and veal with tuna sauce accompanied with two glasses of the recommended red wine. The thing we appreciated beyond measure was the bread made by them and served freshly warmed up. The staff is young, knowledgeable and very kind. Congratulations!

Near the Leopardi house, the menu displayed is intriguing on the one hand, due to an evident desire to experiment, and on the other suspicious, because experimentation does not always lead to results (we know this well because experimenting is our job). However, curiosity almost always wins in our house... the first impact with the staff is immediately positive. Let's take a dish that revisits gaspacho with the addition of peach, blueberries and cottage cheese. Simply excellent!!! My wife, talking about it after almost 24 hours, still has drooling. An onion-based dish filled with onion cream. Gnocchi seasoned with white meat sauce and lemon (good but not suitable for the temperature of the day) and baked aubergine with burrata, tomatoes and basil. Cheesecake, deconstructed (much to my suspicion but excellent). Two glasses of Verdicchio di Matelica, simply divine. We highly recommend

Delightful place, nestled in the streets of Recanati, well-kept venue and super refined food, all locally produced. I recommend the evening, very honest prices!!! Compliments!!!!

It's a real shame not to be able to give 5 stars, the restaurant is in the central area, well-kept, the menu is refined with excellent raw materials, but there wasn't the same care given to the bill. We were charged for 2 extra coffees (there was no queue at the cash register and the place wasn't full, a quiet Monday at lunch time). In good faith, be more careful, it's also my fault for being naive by not checking the receipt.

Osteria tranquilla, cibo eccellente, personale cortese e professionale. Se passate a visitare questo bellissimo borgo dovete fermarvi a gustare i loro piatti. Consigliati i taglieri di salumi e formaggi e i primi piatti!

Il posto si presenta molto bene, bello difronte alla famosa casa di Leopardi. Si consumano piatti tipici: solo carne, prezzi giusti e porzioni abbondanti. Si tratta di un locale a gestione familiare. Servizio abbastanza celere.
