A place located in the centre, with an elegant and classic look, we had an excellent dinner from starters to desserts. The impeccable service of three young people in the dining room is on par with the dishes tasted: the flavors of this land, such as agnolin del plin, tagliolini, the meat is very good, but also the desserts (bunet and mattonella).

“A truly extraordinary experience! The restaurant offers excellent typical cuisine, with dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. Each course is a journey into the authentic flavors of tradition. The welcome was superb, the staff was very kind and made us feel at home. Posizionato sotto i portici di fronte alla torre civica, l' Osteria Umberto è un locale sobrio ma raffinatamente arredato.
Il menù proposto rispecchia il meglio della tradizione culinaria.
Noi abbiamo scelto lumachine fritte e vitelle/tonnee; tajarin al ragù e gobbi "ris e con". BUONA LISTA DEI VINI

It has now become a fixed appointment when we go to Cherasco. Quiet and welcoming environment, quality Piedmontese food and fair prices.

Una giornata di sole. Cherasco è proprio bella con i suoi portici e i suoi palazzi. Di qua è passata tanta Storia e ancora la si respira. Finiamo per caso(ma non è mai un caso) in questo ristorantino a conduzione familiare. Arredato con quel buon gusto sabaudo (si potrà ancora dire?) che contraddistingue questa parte di Piemonte.
Prendiamo le lumache, fritte e alla Parigina e i tajarin al ragù. Mezzo litro di Dolcetto di Clavesana sfuso e siamo serviti. La carta vini era completa e il menù invitante. Servizio giovane veloce e discreto. E sorridente il che non è poco.
