The food was truly excellent—especially the main courses. The duck was fantastic, and the asparagus was also delicious. You could tell the attention and quality in the kitchen was there. However, as other reviews have already written, the service needs to be better organized. It's wonderful to see a young, energetic, and friendly staff, but youthful energy shouldn't mean chaos and a lack of customer service. We had to ask for the menu twice because no one brought it to us after we sat down. We also had to ask for water and bread ourselves. There was also a slightly unpleasant incident: my husband is Italian, I'm not, but I speak Italian very well because I've lived and worked here for many years. We asked for the menu in Italian, and a young woman looked at us with a puzzled expression, replied in English, "Yes?", and left without bringing us anything. Shortly afterward, the same person was speaking Italian freely with her colleagues, which left us a bit perplexed. In general, there was a sense of confusion on the terrace: there was no one coordinating the service. All of this creates a somewhat stressful atmosphere for the customer, too. That said, the food is truly worthy. With more organized service, it would be an excellent place.

Every time, a truly pleasant experience! Excellent food and top-notch staff!!! Polite, helpful, and knowledgeable, which is definitely not a given in recent years. Young, enthusiastic, and truly pleasant.

Great local cheeses, lovely food

The dinner was quite good, but a bit pricey. For what we paid, I would have liked a tablecloth and not just paper placemats.

A wonderful discovery. The food is divine! Special mention goes to the blonde waitress: cheerful, extremely kind, and attentive to every detail.

A very well-kept restaurant, the beautiful wooden furnishings create a pleasant atmosphere. The first course, lasagna, was excellent. The second course, duck fillet, was cooked medium rare, but the meat was bland and tasted bland. The glass of red wine they offered, Valpolicella, was very welcome, and the price was reasonable. Service was provided by a young but competent and attentive staff, both in welcoming guests and during the meal. Prices were moderately high, and in keeping with the restaurant's reputation.

In the center of Bassano, regional cuisine in a rustic, wood-paneled restaurant. Refined dishes, excellent ingredients. The young, knowledgeable staff advises customers on seasonal cuisine. Personally, I'm disappointed by the risotto, a dish recommended off-menu (but delicious), for its undisclosed price of €40 for two and its exceptionally small portions, considering the portions of the other diners. The photo proves it. Prices are slightly high.
