Refined cuisine, but not cheap. The service wasn't great; one of the waiters (probably jaded by tourists) was pretentious and didn't even hide his annoyance when we asked for a replacement for a fork my son had accidentally dropped; this set the tone for the atmosphere....

A truly lovely place. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We chose to eat only lake fish, which was truly excellently prepared. Congratulations!

Chosen by chance for a quick lunch during a stroll in Varenna. A truly well-kept place, with a wide selection of wines, fresh and delicious dishes, and impeccable service, both in terms of timing and manner. Completely satisfied. Well done.

Recommended by my airbnb host and it was the best lasagna I’ve ever had!!! My partner got the steak and that was so delicious and perfectly cooked too! Everything was well priced, worth paying for the delicious food. Great service also. A very memorable meal for us in Lake Como thank you☺️

Fantastic food and wine. Nothing more to say. If you’re in Varenna and looking for a fantastic meal in a fantastic restaurant, then I would recommend check it out. It looks simple and unassuming from the street - but inside is amazing. We ate here tonight. The service was great. We shared the octopus starter - good sized serve. We then had the squid ink pasta and the duck. Both were great. The octopus and duck were my favourite.

25/08/2025: Pizza night with friends, everyone's opinion was excellent (there were nine of us). The pizza was really good, and the desserts didn't disappoint either. Excellent value, we'll definitely be back.
04/08/2025: The absolute best pizza you'll find between Milan and Lecco. And beyond... A spectacular dough and all the highest-quality ingredients. The "Zia" pasta of the month is always a surprise with artistic combinations. Otto never fails. And to finish, the Braulio semifreddo is highly recommended. The other desserts, starting with the tiramisu, are also gourmet.

20/07/2025: It's worth walking past just to admire the centuries-old wisteria at the entrance. Excellent food. Impeccable service. Beautiful restaurant (and clean bathrooms). Make an extra effort for the desserts. I'll be back again.
02/07/2025: The restaurant offers both pizza and cuisine, with a typical mountain menu, simple in preparation, good taste. It's a shame, however, that there is not even a fish dish.
