You can have lunch the good old fashioned way, with food and drinks, coffee, and dessert, always for 12 euros. The host and waitresses are friendly and quick. It's a shame the place is always packed...

We came here for Easter.
The food was quite good, the staff were friendly. I would have varied the Easter menu a bit because it was limited to appetizers and all first courses.
The only flaws were a bit too long a wait between courses and the small dishes without a second course, but otherwise, it was okay.
Given the hype, I expected better.

A place from another era, in a village on an isolated peak, where alleys instead of streets, in a courtyard that feels like a daguerreotype... but for that very reason, BEAUTIFUL! We ate well, plentifully, and for the right price... (this, too, is from another era...) The "fake" Pizzoccheri were delicious, as were the cured meats, the cheeses, and the wine, honest and without "side effects." In the reviews, we saw some criticism of the staff: I have to say, however, we found them very pleasant: kind, friendly, fast... even too fast! Perhaps we would have appreciated a little more time between courses, but that's fine. Let's keep this in mind for future trips to the Castiglione Olona area, which is truly worth a visit.

The hostel was recommended to us, and you'll find signs leading to the interior of two narrow streets and a portico. The daily menu is displayed in the dining room, and dinner offers a wide selection of appetizers, including melting cured meats, donkey salami, cheeses, beans, tigelle with cured meats and polenta with Zola cheese, as well as pickles and more. First courses include pizzoccheri with spinach and cheese, macaroni with donkey ragù, and traditional tagliatelle with raw ham, onion, and aged fontina. There's a choice of second courses, desserts like meringue pie and torta della nonna, and liqueurs. Various vintage objects are displayed in the dining room, bringing back memories of the past. Drinks include coffee.
The friendly and helpful staff are available to provide any information. The price is average and worth considering.

A very rustic place with a menu (and prices!) that hasn't changed since 2004, as stated on the menu itself. Simple but well-cooked food, a quiet atmosphere reminiscent of an old-fashioned tavern. I'll definitely be back :)
