Posto trovato per caso, ma si è dimostrato un’ottima scelta, siamo usciti soddisfatti. Locale illuminato e arredato con personalità, personale professionale, gentile, cordiale e affabile. Frittura di pesce una delle più buone mai mangiate, abbondante e con gustosa insalata di contorno, su nostra richiesta. Bocconcini di baccalà e pancetta ottimi, così come i tordelli versiliesi. Mezzo litro di vino bianco. Sorbetto al limone. Il tutto 62€, rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo.

Passing by chance in front of this restaurant we read "lunch menu Friday and Saturday €20", first choice between 2 options, fried fish, glass of wine, water and coffee €20. We decided to stop and it was an amazing find! I don't think I've ever eaten fish of this quality at such a price. Abundant servings, light frying, what can I say... 5 stars deserved. I will definitely return and recommend to my acquaintances. Ps: family-run restaurant, lovely people ;)

First of all, TA has stated the wrong address shown on the website, which the owner confirmed was correct five years ago.
The new address is Via Machiavelli 64.
In my opinion, this Osteria should be at least a Trattoria in terms of the preparation and quality of the ingredients used. Small local, family run, air conditioned, and spacious restaurant with rustic charm give a relaxed, homely atmosphere.
The mixed seafood starter (6 different tastings) is recommended to show the versatility of the food preparation by the kitchen. One of the six was polenta fritter with clams in a finely chopped tomato sauce. The other five you will have to find out for yourself!
The Mains were an oven baked sea bass fillet with shredded vegetables (courgettes, red onions, potatoes, and black olives) and squid ink paparadelle with tuna flakes and cream of chick peas.
The staff were welcoming, informative, and friendly, and the kitchen staff included mothers and grandmothers of the respective family, which was nice to observe.
House white (Vermentino) or red (Chianti) wines can be ordered either by glass, carafe, half bottle, or full bottle.
Overall, a well presented, high-quality meal with subtle flavours was delivered with professionalism by the staff.
A return visit is guaranteed in the future.
