Osteria Pantasima In L'aquila

We came to L'Aquila for a school project with the Ministry of Sports. We came across this osteria and were impressed by the originality of the dishes and the quality of the ingredients! The staff is friendly and welcoming!

Pantasima is a refined and coherent restaurant, where atmosphere, dining room, and kitchen work in perfect harmony. Dishes are clean, balanced, and easy to understand, with technique and substance without excess. Special mention goes to the chef, a student of Gualtiero Marchesi: you can feel her confident touch and the elegance of the essentials. The service is attentive and discreet. Highly recommended.

Dinner with friends on a September evening; I was amazed by the quality and flavors of the dishes. The parmigiana was exceptional (even though it wasn't called that on the menu), and the other dishes were delicious. The wines offered were unique and unusual. I'll definitely return. I returned in January 2026. The winter menu was also excellent. The manager was very kind.

The cuisine is flavorful and well-crafted, with dishes that showcase local ingredients to their fullest. The small bowl of hot broth is a real treat. The selection of artisanal wines is also interesting, perfect to accompany each course. The quality/price ratio is good, both for the food and the wine. A must-visit for those seeking flavor, atmosphere, and simplicity done right.

Excellent selection of local and international cheeses. The general availability for children leaves something to be desired.
