On the seafront, a casual eatery run by young people eager to impress. With just a few tables, Osteria Pani e Pesci in Fano is the perfect restaurant for those who want to enjoy fresh fish and raw seafood in a shabby chic setting overlooking the sea. The somewhat slow service between courses (the portions are a bit small) makes up for it with excellent workmanship and beautifully presented ingredients. The prices are a bit excessive, not for the quality but for the quantity.
I would still recommend it.

A truly unique location on the Sassonia seafront in Fano! The owner is very knowledgeable and professional in recommending menu items. The dishes are tasty and delicious. There's a wide selection of wines and very fair prices considering the quality of the food and the careful pairing of ingredients! I highly recommend trying it.

One summer evening, with a thunderstorm brewing, we took advantage of a free table to enjoy a delicious Castelmagno risotto, shrimp and cocoa, and excellent fried fish. The waiter was extremely kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was simple and charming, perfect for an evening with your partner or friends, especially since there aren't many seats available.

I ate there with my husband last night (August 20th) and I have to say GREAT things about these young people. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented. The owner even seated us inside because it was threatening rain, even though he had a full house. He didn't rush us at all, on the contrary. The food is top-quality, with meticulous attention to flavor combinations and presentation. The price is average for seafood restaurants.
I highly recommend it, but make a reservation; the place is intimate and elegant.

A lunch break that puts you back on track!
A super welcoming atmosphere, with attention to detail but no frills. You immediately feel at home.
The tortellone? A mystical experience. Literally. An explosion of flavors that makes you close your eyes and say, "Okay, I'm in the right place."
The fried fish? Crispy, dry, flavorful: among the best I've ever had in Fano. My word.
And then them: the kindest, smiley, and super helpful guys. You can tell they put their heart and soul into it.

A little discovery. The waiter was very kind to us and our little furry boy. The food was truly delicious, with very fresh fish and sophisticated dishes. The restaurant was very charming and well-kept.
Excellent wine list.
Save room for the panna cotta.
