Osteria Numero 2 In Bigarello

I often go there for business lunches with colleagues. The place is clean, and the outdoor space is lovely. The first and second courses are good, and the prices are reasonable.

We tried this osteria in the Mantua area. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff were helpful and courteous. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the platter of mixed cheeses and mustards. I highly recommend it. The other dishes were also good, with excellent pairings and beautifully presented. I'd say the value for money was good.

The restaurant is surrounded by greenery, with a lovely outdoor space. We had a divine dinner. The staff was exceptional: kind, cheerful, and welcoming. A truly pleasant surprise. We'll be back soon!

We've known this restaurant for a few years. The place is truly charming, tastefully decorated, and welcoming. The owner is a very kind person who loves to pamper his guests, especially by recommending grappa, beers, and wines. He's truly knowledgeable. The staff is kind and helpful. The food is all excellent. I'd like to give special praise to the risottos. I love risottos. And they're really good here. But—and this is where I really appreciate it—this is the only restaurant where you can eat risotto even if you're the only person at the table to choose it. Of all the restaurants—and we travel a lot—this is the only one that doesn't have a "minimum" for two people on the menu. I pointed this out to a waiter at my table some time ago, and he very kindly said, "Madam, it wouldn't be fair... If a guest wants risotto, it wouldn't be nice to not let them have it just because there's no one else at the table to choose it..." Great. Thank you. Highly recommended. Francesca and Maurizio
